Rose’s Cowboys released
Do you like “hot” stories? How about a romance with three emotionally wounded but determined people to root for?
What if the heroine has sworn off men, for good reason, and then meets two cowboys that are determined to pursue her even when she at first refuses? But how can she resist these two adopted brothers, these two cowboys who are too persistent and too charming to ignore?
How can the two most flirtatious “brothers” in the Grayson family rein in their wild ways and pursue a woman all wrong for them? She’s not their typical love ‘em and never want to settle down kind of woman. She tempts each of them to consider something more serious, something they’ve both sworn would never happen to them. She’s so tempting to each of them that they are even willing to share her.
If she will have the courage to accept their proposal.
Rose’s Cowboys is my latest release in the Devils in Denim series from Black Velvet Seductions. I fell in love with these two cowboys as I wrote their story, and I hope you do as well. This is a HFN (Happily For Now) story, but there will be something more permanent in their future at some point in the series. You’ll just have to wait and wonder, and think about how you would like to see their story wind up.
Title: Rose’s Cowboys
Release Date: March 7, 2013
Publisher: Black Velvet Seductions
BLURB
When both the marriage Rose had planned and and her career as a professional ballerina are lost to her she packs up and moves to a small town in Colorado to begin a new career as the town’s librarian. She wants a fresh start, to heal her emotional wounds, and to steer clear of relationships with men for the rest of her life. Then she meets two of the sexiest cowboys, notorious flirts who both pursue her…even boldly suggesting she consider a ménage a trois. She tries to resist. The idea is outrageous, wrong.
Camden and Doug, adopted brothers of Samuel Grayson, are a pair of emotionally troubled, but charming cowboys who excel at making women happy in bed. Neither of them are interested in settling down, not wanting to burden a woman they might love with their dysfunctional pasts. When they meet Rose she appeals to each of them in ways they can’t fight. They dare to ask her to have a relationship with both of them, willing to share her just so they can have her in their lives. But can it really work?

The Marshal’s Rebellious Bride released
I am excited to announce the release of The Marshal’s Rebellious Bride from Blushing Books. The book was originally published as Whiskey’s Rebellion several years ago. We decided it had slipped through the system at some of the booksellers and thought it deserved a second chance.
It is always fun to revisit some of my favorite characters and get the opportunity to strengthen the story, add more emotional depth, and lengthen the story as well. There are almost 9,000 additional words this time. And Whiskey drives the rough, tough, hero (Morgan) even crazier this time around.
If you bought the book previously from Blushing Books, you will automatically get the revised book in your personal library. If you haven’t read the other book, now is your chance to read a really fun historical Western romance.
The first version was enjoyed by many, hopefully by more this round. A couple of teaser reviews include:
“Really, really good book with some great characters that are strong and of course love to cause trouble. The love story moves along at a good pace and there is plenty of pranks to be had and laugh out loud ones to boot.” (Evelyn)
“One of my favorite love stories! Lots if tension & friction which makes for an entertaining read.” (Lana)
BLURB
Angelina Wakefield, better known as Whiskey, is Dodge City’s beloved mischievous imp. There is little she won’t dare to do, proper or improper. With her English earl father back home in England, her two older brothers are left to watch over, protect, and try to guide her as best they can. No matter the lectures she receives or the occasional session over a knee, she rebels to go her own way. Finally the brothers decide what she needs is a strong man they can trust to both love her and tame her. U. S. Marshal Morgan Rydell seems perfect…but not to Whiskey.
Morgan has a dark history, a feared reputation as a lawman, and is a dangerous man with a gun. He is a target for any man wanting to challenge him and make their own reputation. Because of that he has no intention of ever marrying or ever settling down and bringing his son to live with him. Even if he wants to, how can he do that and risk endangering anyone close to him?
Then his U.S. Marshal buddy nearly dies and makes him promise to marry his sister, Whiskey. How could he refuse a man who has saved his life so often? But when his friend lives, he still feels honor-bound to the agreement he made. Plus the brothers offer him the chance to buy the Wakefield Ranch. It’s a dream he longs for and can’t resist no matter the possible dangers ahead. To finally have his son with him, to stop riding the trails…the drawback is having to marry the spirited, sassy, far too independent for his peace of mind Whiskey. And, damn, if the sexy little minx doesn’t appeal to him in the worst way. Even when she continually tells him she won’t marry him.

Trial By Partnership released
I’m happy to announce the release of my latest contemporary romance novella, Trial By Partnership, from Blushing Books. The book is published under my pen name of S. K. Fero, one of my alter identities.
Trial By Partnership was a fun book to write about two people essentially butting heads…and falling in love anyway. Kami had been married to the hero’s construction business partner. She’d spent most of her marriage as merely her husband’s “eye candy,” rather than him seeing the actual worth within her. With his death and the chance to start over and inheriting part of a business, she is determined to prove herself. She won’t let another man walk all over her.
Reid is furious that he didn’t have first chance to buy out his partner’s share of the company, as they had previously arranged. He doesn’t want Kami as a partner, for many reasons. Only he doesn’t see her as basically brainless as her ex-husband had done. His biggest problem is that he has secretly been in love with her for years. How can they possibly work together?
Publisher: Blushing Books
Genre: Contemporary romance
Length: Novella, 6 chapters
*The book will also be available soon at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
Trial By Partnership
Kami was surprised to inherit her dead husband’s 50% ownership in a high–end home construction business. After years of being controlled and nothing more than her ex’s eye–candy, she yearns for a chance to prove that she has worth. She won’t let another man hold her back again. Problem is, the 50% share comes with a partner who also owns 50%.
Reid MacAndrew is furious that his former partner went against their agreement and left his share in their company to Kami. It isn’t that he doesn’t think her capable in business. But it should be his business. He’d started it and built it up, not her ex. Even more, how can he bear to work with the woman he has secretly loved for years?
When it looks like they have no choice but to work together, Reid lets Kami know that he’ll live with the situation, but that there are rules she has to follow while she’s learning, HIS rules that he WILL enforce the old–fashioned way. He expects her to run away screaming; instead, she agrees to the stipulations. And the first time she meekly puts herself bare–bottomed over his lap for her just desserts, he starts to realize that his plan to drive her away just backfired…in a big way.
Book Length: 6 Chapters/ 33,213 Words

What do you do when you’re snowed in?
What do you do when you’re snowed in? I’m not going out to sit on my patio furniture today, maybe not tomorrow. I’m not even venturing out of the house today. The streets are horrible. So what will I do today? Hmmm
This is the time to catch up on all those things you’ve let slide, especially those updates on blogs, etc. I’ve worked on my Pinterest boards, added a lot of my book covers, rearranged the boards, and added some pins. Stop by and see if there is anything to interest you.
I added pictures on my other website of my latest art quilt project, a village with a surprise dragon.
I finished the revisions on a book coming out from Blushing Books soon, The Marshal’s Rebellious Bride. This was actually a revamping, strengthening, lengthening, and name change of Whiskey’s Rebellion. My publisher and I decided we really liked this book and thought we’d kick it up a bit. If you bought it before from Blushing Books, you will automatically get a copy of the new book.
And I found out that Valentine’s Cowboy (released just before Valentine’s Day) has finally made it to Amazon. They were incredibly slow getting it up there this time. But if you want a nice “hot” read for a cold winter day…this will do the job.
