Swords Choice; The Sapphire Eruption
5.0 stars
The cover drew me in at first and then when I started reading it was easy to keep going. With the red sky calling for the ritual to be held by sword to determine the next ruler of the kingdom and the fight to protect the chosen one gives a great pull to the reader. The story included lots of adventure and was greatly descriptive. I felt like I was in the book. I will be looking for book 2 in this series and will definitely recommend.

If You Tell
5.0 stars
Shelly was a monster who tortured her children and manipulated everyone. It was hard to read knowing that there are people who can be so evil, also that others can be manipulated so easily. I kept wanting someone to STOP her. This must have been so hard for the author telling this story. Heart wrenching, thank you for sharing.

The Story of Lord Leon and the Gaffer Above
5.0 stars
Easy to read story of Leon's life with his family. True family man who makes it clear that he loves his family. Shares his brushes with scary health issues, family vacations, family business and people he has met throughout his lifetime. The Gaffer, as he puts it, has been looking out for him all through his life and going from the boy in the tin bath to the man in the marble bath has certainly been a wonderful "train ride". I love the analogy of life being a train ride and meeting people on the train throughout your life. Thank you for sharing.

Pandy the Black and White Bear
5.0 stars
I loved this book and know that children will love it too. I always love a children's book that teaches a lesson and in this book were two lessons. 1. Bullying isn't okay and 2. Just because someone is different from you does not mean they are not a good person or deserving of respect and friendship. The graphics were wonderful and very colorful. Thank you for your great book. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

20 Lessons...
5.0 stars
If we all knew the lessons in this book at age 20, the world would be a better place. I could relate to every chapter, from working hard to being nice to others, to learning from our mistakes. The chapter on being present in the moment gives a lesson that lots of people could learn from and would enrich lives, moving from here to relating greatly to the making time for family and friends. Definitely worth the read.

Feel The Paint
5.0 out of 5 stars
Amazing tips to help develop a finished produce
I loved this book and will refer my friends who have children or grandchildren. Wish I had it when I used to do all the crafts with my granddaughter. Such great tips for encouraging children to see their target subject and to put more into their painting/drawing. Such as if they are going to paint a tree, questions are asked about why they like the specific tree, encouraging them to make it their own - leave out branches they don't like, adding in extras such as a bird nest. Talking to the child about what they are going to paint and how to get to their goal is wonderful, it engages more conversation and lets them know you are really interested. Loved the book. Would recommend to parents, grandparents and teachers or babysitters.

The Magic Leaf
5.0 stars
I love a children's story that is not only entertaining but also delivers a message. While Carlo dreads his daily task of the long walk up the mountain carrying a heavy load, he faithfully does it. When his friend Marco volunteers to go with him and they reminisce about fun things and talk all the way there it is a wonderful lesson that even the hardest of tasks can be easier and faster if shared with someone. Even as adults, if we do something that we typically don't like doing or seems like too big of a task, if done with a friend it is much more fun and is more bearable. Would definitely read to a child and would probably be one of those books that is a repeat read.

Betrayal High
5.0 stars
The cover and title caught attracted me initially and I wanted to read the book. This is a subject that lots of people wonder about. When there are mass shootings in schools the first thing that comes to mind is "WHY"? The dialogue going on in Kevin's mind explains the why and how devastating bullying is and what damage it can do to an individual experiencing it. I loved the character Kenny too, the way he had survived bullying and other traumas but came back to try and stop the shooter becoming the hero instead of a victim. Loved the story and will definitely read other stories from this author.

The Sticky Tricky Kisses
5.0 stars Setting boundaries
Such an important message. Children should be taught at an early age to set boundaries and know who their safe people are to be able to tell anything. Easily readable to children with plenty of opportunities for the reader to discuss each page with the child to reinforce the message.
