No Pianos, Pets or Foreigners...

5 stars
This was a quick and easy read. Full of information relayed by the author of experiences in Japan. A wonderful variety of topics and a great learning experience of other cultures and traditions. I loved the ticket for the seat that turned out to be the next day. So glad the author was fluent in Japanese to be able to point this out and put the man in his place when he had started to be so rude to the foreigner. Thanks for all the information, lots in this book that I was not aware of.

Finding Caleb

5 stars
I was waiting anxiously for this 3rd book to be released and it did not disappoint. A trip back to rescue more people from the Sanctuary included action, suspense and they rescue a tortured girl who becomes a central part of the story. I loved the internal turmoil that Caleb was dealing with and the conflict between the two girls. The book includes action, suspense, heart break and happiness. Would definitely recommend this book and the whole series. I look forward to book 4.

In The Heartland: A Story so Real, It Might be True

5 stars
Action, Suspense, Intrigue
This book was a great read. I had to keep reminding myself that it was a fiction book. However, true to the title it is "so real, it might be true". I loved the Jonathan character and how he was dedicated to following through with his mission. A bit scary to think that this could be true but not so far fetched. Loved the surprise ending - won't give it away. Thanks for the great read, I will definitely recommend this book to others.

The Cassidy Chronicles: Volume 1

5 star
At first I found the book a bit long for me but the story line got better the more I read. Became suspenseful when they went on the run from the wedding and made me keep turning pages. Really enjoyed the book overall.

New Haven

New Haven (The New Beginning's Book 2) New Haven by Lauren Rigby

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The story continues from book one in the series and doesn't disappoint. Selena and Rowen with the group of friend, now considered family encounter tragedy (won't give the story away) and accomplishment with setting up their housing, food supply and increasing their population of New Haven. Page turner once again and can't wait for book 3 in March.

The Sanctuary

5 stars
This book kept me interested and I had a hard time putting it down. Selena and Rowen, both from different lives. Rowen from the high life and Selena from the slums of this new Sanctuary. Their challenges and plans to escape with the help of friends so that they could be together and start a life in their New Haven, had me rooting for them both. The chapters were well written and flowed so easily that made reading a relaxing and anticipated time. I cannot wait to read the second book in this series "New Haven".

Diary of a Female GP

4 stars Very detailed account of what a GP goes through in a day, from family daily routines, writing prescriptions, seeing patients, doing call-backs, visits to patients outside of the office, and dealing with unreasonable agitated patients. The only thing that I thought was too detailed was that it went right down to when she had to use the toilet. I think that could have been left out. Thanks so much for sharing; it has given me a better appreciation for a doctors workload and challenges with patients.

Playing for Keeps

4 stars
J.C. Grant
Playing for Keeps
Wow, kept me reading. Had a hard time putting it down. David was overly possessive and controlling which isn't what I would personally date, but the description of him and the way he could melt Austin and satisfy her definitely drew me in. Will be putting the next book on my to read list.
