My Review
Mason and Amber … what a story …
I confess I didn’t read the first book, so I didn’t know what to expect. I imagined a sweet love story, but I found myself in another world, and I loved it!
We begin the story with Amber’s abduction. Drugged, kidnapped, and beaten as if that were not enough. Amber realizes that she has been kidnapped and recognizes her kidnappers. As soon as she sees an escape route, she finally manages to escape despite all the pain she feels. Fortunately, she is rescued by a passer-by who takes her to the hospital. Finally, safe.
Mason, a world-famous singer, finds out that the woman he loves has been kidnapped, and the kidnappers demand payment or they will kill her. When he finds out who is behind his woman’s kidnapping, his whole world turns upside down.
The fact that Mason didn’t tell Amber he loved her was, in my opinion, a key point. If you try to put yourself in both their shoes, you completely understand the reason for some of their choices.
The journey continues and is full of twists, deceptions, and lies. Obviously, I’m not going to tell you more; this book should be read and lived.
I really struggled to put the book down and go to sleep; I was on the edge of my seat from the beginning. I wanted and could have finished it in a single reading, but too many emotions are not good for my heart, so I took my time.
Stacy is fantastic; I already knew that. She’s terrific to let us feel all the emotions of her characters.
Would I recommend it?! Without a doubt!!

She left school and life took over. She started working, got married, had children and finally reignited her passion for writing a few years ago. This is her first published novel (apart from her short prequel) and it’s book 1 in a series of which she is currently writing book 4. How many will there be? Who knows… Tom might keep leading her on adventures for a while.
She also loves cheese and wine and is a Harry Potter tragic.

Moving to Sweetwater Valley, where my parents live, is a chance to start fresh and see what the next stage in my life is all about. I thought for sure after Christopher’s death that I would spend the rest of my life alone with my two kids as my focus. Watching someone you love waste away leaves you broken and exhausted. I’m content in my life, content with my revolving bedroom door without real connection and only physical satisfaction. Well, I try to convince myself that I’m content.
