My Review
Marcus and Ricky, classmates in high school, both end up in detention during a lesson: because Ricky was drawing during the lesson and Marcus was distracted by Marcus’ drawings. In that detention room, Marcus kisses Ricky. That kiss changed everything between them, the rumor that Marcus was gay leaked, and he starts to be bullied.
Eleven years later, Marcus is forced by his father to return to Becker Bay. To find a new talent to be included in the premier league. And that’s a nightmare for Marcus.
Ricky never left Becker Bay. He continued to improve his passion for football, becoming even a better player. Too bad for his vices, especially drinking that ruins him, often leaving him without money.
When the two meet, we have fun and profound moments. Will Ricky be able to get a seat on a premier league team? And what will happen when one of his vices threatens to ruin everything he worked for? As usual a fantastic book, full of emotions, but on the other hand, we already know that Joe gives us unique journeys through his books.

My Review
Jess and Andrew, oh wow!!! We can also perceive their attraction as readers.
Jess goes to celebrate New Year’s Eve in her favorite Bar/club, and it is there that she meets or instead sees Andrew.
Something immediately clicks between them, so much so that at the stroke of midnight, the two kisses. And what a kiss! Powerful enough not only to set Jess on fire, but it also stirs Andrew. The two spend a night of pure lust, passion, and sex. Andrew is passionate and dominated, and to Jess attracts even more. They both think it’s a one-night stand, but neither has dealt with jealousy.
Twists, steaming moments, a little suspense make the book pleasant to read and fluent.
Reading this book is like watching a movie. And I highly recommend it, just, don’t start it in the evening or you’ll end up with a sleepless night, you won’t be able to put it down.

Drake and Sia, oh my God.
When her heel breaks in the middle of the airport due to the rush, Sia is helped by a handsome man, and instinctively she kisses him to thank him. A kiss that triggers so many emotions, shaking her soul, scaring her, making her run away.
But fate knows how to fix things, and it makes them meet again. For fun, out of curiosity of their intense attraction, Sia and Drake spend a night together, a night that will remain in both memories.
Happiness is just a breath of illusion, though, and Sia decides to go away, leaving Drake sleeping, without saying goodbye and leaving him the phone number.
Will Drake be able to find her? Will the two give themselves a chance despite the age gap?
This book made me dream, despite the sleepless night passed because I couldn’t put it down. Well written, fun, and passionate. A perfect combination.

My Review
It all started with the most natural thing in the world, a kiss.
Michael, Holden, and Jess are three friends in their senior year of high school. Michael and Jess are together when Holden begins to feel attracted to Michael. The fact that Michael sends him some ambiguous signals causes Holden to step forward and kiss him.
The reaction is not precisely what he expected, but that kiss remains in their memories for years.
Five years later, when Holden is fired, he is forced to return to New Heaven; the friendship with Jess is still strong. When he calls her to tell her that he will be in New Heaven shortly, she’s upset because she can’t go to pick him up at the airport. But she already has another solution, and diabolical or not (I leave it to you to decide), Jess sends Michael to pick up Holden at the airport.
The two, overcome the first moments of embarrassment, trying to return to the city, a snowfall prevents them, and Michael proposes to go to his father’s cabin until it stops snowing. Holden agrees.
The two begin to clear up some moments of school times, especially the awkward ones that happened after their kiss.
Will Holden be able to confess the crush he had and still has on him? And Michael, how will he react? Will the two be able to give each other a chance?
You can find out by reading this new Hayden’s Hall adventure. The author will transport you into the characters’ world, and you’ll have the feeling of being part of the book(and that’s amazing). There are some hilarious moments, and the exchange between the protagonists is phenomenal.
There is no lack of deep and intense moments that give the book the completeness to define it genuinely fantastic!

Self confidence
One of the most vital ingredients of success is self-trust. It is the confidence that you deserve the best, you can have the best, and you are willing to pay the price to have the best. Without self-trust, it is very difficult or impossible to develop trust in relationships, friendships, and in the workplace. Also, it has negative effects on confidence, perceived competence, and the risks we are willing to take. According to Ralph Waldo Emerson, self-trust is the first secret to success, the essence of heroism.
Why don’t we trust ourselves fully?
A lack of self-trust is not inherited. We are not born with it; it comes from some negative results, experiences, environments, and interpretation of events. To solve a problem, we must first accept that it exists and find its real cause.
Broken promises
One of the biggest catalysts of low self-trust is making promises to ourselves and breaking them. It doesn’t matter who made the promise; when a promise is broken, it leads to lower expectations next time, even if you made the promise to yourself. It gets worse when you make promises to others and continuously fail to keep them. They begin to perceive you as not worthy of their trust, and you begin to agree with them because they are right.
Negative Influences
If you are in the company of those who are not trustworthy, you will see yourself as not worthy of your trust over time. The company you keep can rub off on you and eventually affect your perception of yourself. Whatever you do, never lose your identity under the power of negative influence.
No Proven Track Record
Self-trust and confidence are often built on the wings of a proven track record of performance, innovation, and affirmation. Without a strong track record, you are likely not going to trust yourself to perform at certain top levels. This will affect your faith in yourself to deliver on promises and rise to challenges.
Cultural Manipulation
Everyone else seems to be having a good life while nothing much is happening in yours. When you live in a culture where everyone creates an impression of perfection through social media and other virtual reality aspects, it reduces self-trust confidence. It is a culture-induced pressure that you need to do more to be more like the superstar performers portrayed online with lots of likes and retweets.
Problem obsession
One of the biggest challenges to self-trust is a constant obsession with what is not working in our lives, ignoring the successes, the impact we are making, and the influence we are wielding daily. While we may never entirely escape our “problems,” focusing too much on the not perfect things gives us a negative personal image.
Manifestations of Lacking Self Trust
Lack of commitment
A constant lack of commitment to tasks, promises, and relationship is huge evidence of a lack of self-trust. People who are sure of themselves are willing to go over and above to make this work, from relationships to promises to tasks and responsibilities.
Unsustainable Results
When you begin to see inconsistent results in anything you are doing, it may be due to a lack of self-trust.
Self-Sabotage
This is perhaps the biggest indication that you lack confidence in your ability and commitment. It involves actions and inactions that guarantee failure and reduces performance. It involves failing to show up at critical points simply because you are afraid, ashamed, shy, or just entangled with something else of smaller importance. It also involves some severe negative thoughts that keep you from what you desire the most.
How To Gain Self Trust
I think cultivating a sense of trusting yourself has three essential components:
Ingredient #1: Make a decision
Ingredient #2: Dedicated & disciplined action
Ingredient #3: Taking care of oneself
Feeling safe:
We often feel that it’s unsafe to trust ourselves as if we need approval from some higher authority or someone you do trust. What if we could feel safe to trust the ideas and beliefs from within? We would feel confident to speak our truths, blaze our trails, and feel empowered to fulfill our purposes in life.
Self-awareness:
I believe that trust from within starts when we deeply know and connect with ourselves. Often, we identify with everything in the external world and never truly have the chance to get to know who we truly are. When you know who you are, you know what you want. You also know your boundaries, your desires, and where to go, and what to do. Indecision and confusion begin to fall away when you know yourself.
Belief and reinforcement:
Like any other thoughts in mind, it’s essential to monitor and counteract the thoughts that keep you from your truest goal. Reinforce the notion that you are trustworthy, believe in what you believe, and stand firm in your convictions.

When I found out that Sienna Grant and Jen Thornhill had written a book, I couldn’t help stealing an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.
Harper Davis and Scott Hayes’ journey is truly a mix of a thousand emotions.
If you want a fun, exciting book that keeps you glued to the pages, look no further: Face Off is the book you are looking for!
I have a warning, though; this book is highly addictive!!!

Holigay Inn is a well-written story, very engaging, with a moment of tension, curiosity, and the desire to find out what happens next. Reece’s friends are fantastic and give lightness to the story. I loved it, and who knows if there will be a second book too. So… here’s a little sneak peek:
Friends sometimes love them, other times you can’t stand them, but life would be boring without them. When Sophie, Demi, and Nina throw a pre-Christmas party for Sophie’s birthday at Holigay Inn, Austria. Reece takes advantage of it to distract himself by forgetting his ex, who cheated on him.
Sophie and Nina are a couple, and Together with Demi, they decide to find Reece, someone to laid, someone who can make him forget his ex, Luke. What better place than the Holigay Inn, an over 18s ski resort full of adorable and sexy men.
Reece, drunk, signs up for a dating app and receives many messages but chooses to reply to one, thus knowing Elias, a ski instructor.

I love trying new genres, and you know that I love discovering new authors. I was lucky enough to find Hayden Hall and steal from him a copy of his book.
His writing is very engaging, leading the reader to empathize with the characters, and that’s a great goal!
Jake and Viktor met seven years ago during a trip that Jake and his best friend, Lucy, take to Budapest. One evening they go to a club and join at a table where there are a group of hot boys. Here, Lucy meets Andras and Jake, Viktor. The two of the date for a while, discovering new sensations, and feelings but they are only teenagers, and when the vacation ends, Jake must return to the United States.
Seven years later, Lucy and Andras invite Jake to their wedding, and with this excuse, Jake meets Viktor again.In all these years, the two tried to have relationships with different people but did not find that magical spark they had felt in each other’s arms. When Jake and Viktor meet again, it’s as if time has never passed. The initial embarrassment and their way of joking only rekindles the old spark. But the story seems to be a deja vu; Jake will have to return to the United States in two weeks.
What will happen between them? Will Jake be able to live this holiday without suffering the separation from Viktor like the first time? Or even this time, it would tear him apart? Should they remain friends, or will they give it a go trying to date again, enjoying this holiday?
A trip to beautiful Budapest with these two fabulous and sexy guys is definitely a jackpot!
The smooth, fast, and fun reading due to Jake and Viktor’s constant jokes, the hot moments, and the depth of the feelings described making this book truly interesting and enjoyable to read. I definitely recommend it, and I’m sure you will love it as I did.
