End of June Roundup

It’s been a funny ole’ year, as we say here in the UK. It’s all felt very surreal with serious health concerns I still haven’t fully...

2025, Part Deux

Let's finally get this year going. I'm back. I had burn out. That I'm sure of, from late 2022 to May 2023 when I started writing The...

An Uneasy Accord with Burnout

I can't believe it's been so long since my last blog post in September 2022. I was having a bit of a hard time when I wrote it and talked about feeling a bit burnt out after writing The Pack’s Bride and how I was going to change my author platform to prevent energy drain.

How I laugh when I look back on that.

Because right after, I wrote Misfit Survivor and Redeeming Aries and fully burnt out.

The last year and a bit has been interesting. If you were to ask people who knew me, they’d call me low...

September Check In

I was going to talk about The Pack's Bride release and how everything is going, but as I'm doing a full article next fortnight, I thought I'd actually talk about something else today.

The last few months have been difficult in terms of staying focused. My author platform (social media accounts, website, newsletter, blog, and MaMOA) has taken the brunt of this. You may have noticed I haven't gotten a blog out in the last couple of months or that my newsletter has been a day late a couple of time...

Bonus Stories and Insights

As many of you know, Since the beginning of the Warriors series, I always release a bonus epilogue about the characters set at some point in the future. In the case of The Officer’s Mess and The Crime Lord’s Fall, this was to address the trauma experienced by the heroine and help them in their path to healing. For others, like The Scientist’s Price and The Cook’s Game, it’s to tease future events in the overarching story of the Tessan Universe. For The Runaway’s Escape, I was compelled to show h...

The Primes of Klevia

Tacori grew up knowing what he would be one day. Because of his future responsibilities, he was trained to be a warrior and a leader and to be a part of the Primes, who almost consider themselves to be a single organism. Their bond is closer than friends, closer than brothers. While the First Prime is considered to be a living embodiment of the god Zerik, the Primes are all considered to be an aspect of Zerik, a part of him, his anger - Varimar; his control - Tacori; his lust, his resentment, an...

New Covers for Klevian Warriors!

Sam Muraski has done an amazing job with these new covers for the launch of Klevian Warriors. I've updated the covers on both Amazon and BookFunnel, so if you download Varimar from BookFunnel, this is the cover you'll get.

Look at those covers! They're gorgeous!

It's now less than a month before Tacori comes out, 3 weeks tomorrow to be exact. I'm so excited to revisit the second of my sexy Klevians! This version is longer, but it's also a deeper story, going more into the characters and their ...

Two year plan, part one

The next couple of years feels, to me, like a bit of a mish mash. I've never released two series at the same time before, so before I go into all of that, I wanted to talk about it a little.

Before that, have you read The Sotul’s Disgrace yet? Did you enjoy it, comment below and let me know.

The Sotul's Disgrace is the introductory story to the Rulers series which launches in September starting with The Pack’s Bride. Remember Thelan, the sexist Adosian who saved Zoe from the tentacled guy in T...

Covid and writing

For the past two months I’ve been struggling to write due to tendonitis. It was beginning to become a problem, so I invested, heavily, in a split keyboard.

It’s the tendon that my little and ring finger share on my right hand and slowly, over the course of a week pain started. I took a couple of weeks off at the end of January to see if everything got better and it didn’t.

I bought a split keyboard to help. I have short limbs and I can’t reach the keys of a normal keyboard without extending my...
