Unity

Christian unity is not about always agreeing it’s about disagreeing and still walking the journey of faith together in love, continually wanting the best for each other.

Your Safe Place

God is your safe place. In Him there is no fear. He will shelter you and keep you from harm. He will fill you with His peace. God is your refuge. He is all powerful to protect. If God is on your side you need fear nothing. What can happen to you if God is looking out for you? Run to Him and He will be your fortress. Nothing can get in the way of God’s protection. Lie down and rest knowing He is watching over you. Sleep in peace leaving God to guard you. Rest in Him, your strong tower. He gives you the ultimate security. Worry not for He cares for you. Trust Him in all things for He will not let you down.

Hope

In a world of desperate pain, confusion, anguish and helplessness there is hope. There is good news and that news is that God hasn’t given up on His creation. God hasn’t given up on this world, God hasn’t given up on you and me. The rescue party is on it’s way. There is a solution. There is hope. Do not give up, His love will win through.

Darkness

No matter how deep the darkness and even though we may not be able to see it right now we know that the sun is there. Although we may not feel it we are experiencing the warmth that the sun brings no matter how cold it is. The same is true of God. We may not feel His presence or see His hand at work but we know He is there, working for us, giving us what we need. Hold on for the dawn.

Seek God

If you only seek God during one of life’s crisis moments He will be a lot harder to find than if you have already sought Him out and know where He is.

Expect Great Things

If we expect little from God we will receive little from God. Truly expect great things from Him and you will not be disappointed.

Place My Trust

The Lord is my restorer

He rescues me from all trouble

He gives me strength to face each day

He provides for all my needs

He has promised me many things

He has never let me down

Though things get tough I know He is with me

He is the one I can rely on

Though all may desert me

He will always be there

In Him will I place my trust

Wholeness

Wholeness will never be achieved by self-help but by self-sacrifice. Unless we sacrifice our life to the will of God we will never find true wholeness.

Many Things

God can be many things for us. He can be our father, our friend, our healer, restorer, comforter and refuge. However, if we fail to begin with a good and healthy fear of God we fail to see all the other things He wants to be for us from the right perspective. Unless we fear God we cannot truly understand what it mean for Him to want to be our friend. Unless we truly understand that God is someone whom we should fear we will never fully understand the wonderful significance of the grace and mercy that He lavishes upon us. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom… everything else starts from this position.

You Will Find Him

You can make excuses for not believing in God but there are no barriers. If you seek you will find Him – whether you are young or old, male or female, intellectual or uneducated, rich or poor, you will find Him.
