Gratitude
Feeling grateful now
When it comes to being happy is always required to remember to be grateful for what you have. Being grateful puts you in a good mood, it gives you inspiration to keep going, and it humbles you in order to find joy in the daily experience.
There was a time in my youth when I was too worried about not getting what I expected out of life. I would focus more on what I didn’t yet have, and I would then lose the precious moment. But it took me years to finally understand that enjoying life is really about feeling grateful now.

The right one
Analyze carefully
How do you know if the person by your side, or the one you are pursuing, is your true love?? How can you see beyond your own needs–whether phisical, emotional, psychological needs?? Ever asked yourself these questions…?? Very important. Analyze your situation carefully.
The right person does not play any mind games. Games belong to the player. The player follows established rules he makes to win, to satisfy himself. The player then, no matter the charm or intentions claimed, knows no love or true affection. Pay attention to the signs.
The right one inspires you
The right person inspires you to better yourself, not just give you a desire to be with him/her. The right person makes you see and accept your own worth, and it also helps you see your own flaws and accept them as well. The right person, in short, is your higher self, your best version, projected onto another.

To feed your dog…
Love your dog
I love my Bobby so, so much. He’s getting really old. His hearing is not like it used to be. His digestion is not as efficient as it used to be. He tends to gag, and even vomit too.
But love is shown in the small details, not in the big ones. So, make sure you check carefully what you give your dog. No matter how old, the animal’s digestion is not the same as ours.

Anxiety
Feeling anxious
Anxiety is what happens when we obsess about the future or even about the past. Maybe something or someone we lost. Perhaps some tragedy or very personal issue. This overthinking becomes a terrible dread which splits our focus and makes us lose sight of the moment.
And, of course, to feel anxious is very normal, very common, especially for women; but it can become a serious mental illness and truly distort reality, even bringing acute paranoia and serious depression. It is a very serious matter in the world.
Train your mind
Feeling nervous, restless, tense. Having a sense of panic or doom. Having an increased heart rate. Breathing rapidly. Feeling weak or tired. I met some people in the past with these symptoms. It can make you afraid of even going out, being social, or opening your heart to someone.
But anxiety really is your ego (your lower self, the one who wants control) fighting your higher self (the one who wants to live in peace). So, it’s really a dissonance deep-rooted within your psyche. It’s a lack of silence in your mind.
So, seek ways, habits, to silence your mind; ways to train your mind to accept silence as the new normal. So when you feel anxious you can easily switch to a silent mind and focus on something more inspiring.

Passions…
Wanting more
What is something very important for you?? What is your absolute passion, that which makes you truly inspired and happy?? I ask myself this, no matter if I already know it. I ask myself this daily to have it fresh in my mind, so I can pursue my goals, my passions and behave accordingly.
Wanting more out of life is not something bad. A better relationship. A better job. More money. Better opportunities. To be understood and treated fairly. It is all part of the journey of progress here.
What you’ll become
But, first and foremost, you have to watch your mind constantly for greediness, for anxiety and attachment to these things. They can make you competitive and agressive. They can really make you unable to truly find love and happiness within yourself.
And it is because your mind is the most important tool you have. So, the attention must be on you as a human being, in your self-development; and not losing yourself entirely in outside distrations. Wherever your attention goes, that’s what you’ll become.

Bullies in your life
Bullies
A bully is really a person who carries pain deep inside and doesn’t know, or hasn’t been taught by parents on, how to deal with it; and so he/she just takes it out on others. A bully can be a physical bully, an emotional bully, a psychological bully. If it is not too clear who is a bully in your life, just learn to observe carefully–what they do, what they say, how they think and feel, and especially what they believe about themselves.
How to spot a bully
Is the person cruel to you, even if he claims that he has the right?? Is the person cruel or demeaning to others in any way?? Is he making up a lot of excuses over and over again for his selfish actions?? Is he really competitive and worries a lot about his reputation?? Is he escaping responsibility and blaming you or another??
Sometimes we are even living with bullies, and because we are blinded by the affection and history we have with them then we do not even see the signs. But ask yourself the questions and answer them with honesty, respecting yourself, and find out. That is the first step on great awareness, so you can stand up for yourself and others.

Creating yours…
Being unique
One of the main things in life is to remain true to yourself, which means to follow your own path and not copy others just to fit into their narrative of what life is supposed to be. Sometimes problems arise because you want a relationship to be like others, or your success like others, or this or that.
But we are all different, and so copying each other lessens your unique ability for success in life. I must use empathy, creativity, my own vision; and so do what is best for me, create my own path. It requires bravery to be unique, to say no to the way others do things, to be your own voice and create your own style in this world.
Going beyond society
One thing I don’t do is copy the style of other authors for writing, for building plots and characters. I know that most authors do this, that they read and copy from the way bestsellers do it. And if that is you, I can respect that. But I don’t. I aim to create a new style. Some people will like it. Some others love it. But that is not my problem, because my sole purpose is to bring you ‘me’ in those pages.
I believe that if you truly look to be different, unique, and share with others your own style, then you must be brave and stop fearing not being accepted by others. If you have read my books then you know what I’m saying. I do not pretend to be better or worse than others out there; I am just different and creating my own style. After all, great minds go beyond the established norms in society.

Talking to the best
Self-talk
I’ve read in a scientific article long ago that self-talk is very important. I always remember that article because I consider self-talk extremely important in my life. Life can be extremely difficult, with many pressures and ugliness; however, the most important weapon we have against all that is our own mind–our mentality or mental state.
Good communication daily
How am I doing?? Why do I care about what others think and say about me?? What is the best step to take to accomplish my passions and goals?? Why am I being so impulsive?? I ask myself questions like these daily, and many more.
Because in order to know myself better I need to dig deep and treat me as my best friend, and that means to care for myself and be interested about myself. I must establish communication, respect, and trust with myself. It might sound silly, but, in all honesty, love and happiness will only grow in you if there is good communication daily.

Time to choose
You can’t worship 2 masters
I’ve learned that life has its ups and downs. Sometimes it goes well, but some other times not so. Still, I’ve learned that all it takes is to focus on yourself, because if you focus on you then you can choose to be happy no matter what the situation is.
And being happy truly is a choice. Of course, if your life is not going well at the moment you might disagree. But ask yourself what mindset you choose to have: A positive mindset, or a negative mindset?? You have to choose. You can’t worship 2 masters. So, which one do you choose??
Analyze your situation
And what if you don’t choose..?? What if you’re like me when I was younger?? What if you allow yourself to be pushed and bullied by your worries, the economy, the frustration, bad relationships, etc?? Well, if you do, then perhaps without knowing you already chose a negative mindset in your current life.
I’m not who to judge. I’m just sharing my thoughts. God knows I still have a lot of insecurities and fears to fix myself, and that I struggle with every single day. But here’s this message in hopes that you can analyze your own mental situations, and so take responsibility for your choice–either a positive mindset or a negative one.

Buried deep…
All about learning
And there is a lot more to be learned. With my 41 years old, I think that everything is a lesson. I look back to my past and learn something new all over again. For example, you can take a painful memory, ask yourself why pain exists and what can be learned from it.
Perhaps on the surface, you tell yourself that nothing can be learned from it. But if you stick to it, if you allow yourself to let go of the pain and extract just the memory experience, then you can discover something buried even beyond all that anxiety and pain.
Extracting the inspiration
Noticed that I’ve said ‘if you allow yourself to let go of the pain’?? That’s key. It is very important you do not experience that pain again, because if you do then you will mentally try to run away and not learn anything.
So, letting go of the past pain is essential, and in fact the inspiration lies not in the pain but in what’s beyond the pain. And that’s what we’re looking for: Inspiration to create a better future.
