In the shadow of Kolkata's memories,We were good as strangers, life at ease.Through Princep Ghat and Rabindra Sarovar's grace,Our bond blossomed, time couldn't erase.
Bunking classes for the thrill,Exploring streets, a friendship to fulfill.Hand in hand on Kolkata's roads we'd roam,A tale of friendship finding its home.
But beneath the surface, a truth untold,A situationship, my heart's grip loosened, cold.I played the side character in your story,A lost ship without its sailor in the sea of worry.
Now, in solitude, I wander and weep,Asking, "Why did you sow promises so deep?"A jolly guy turned lonely in the crowd,In the echoes of our laughter, silence is loud.
If time could rewind, a wish profound,To be strangers again, our paths unbound.

In the quiet moments on a public bus seat,Amidst the wish for traffic, our retreat.I'd willingly embrace the chaos and fuss,Just to linger beside you, the two of us.
I'd trade my breath for your love's sweet air,In the depth of your heart, find my solace there.Intoxicated by whispers, a fragrant delight,Your hair's allure, a passion taking flight.
Barely resisting the urge to trace,The path to your lips, a tender embrace.Excuses found in winter's chill,A hug to warm, a love that's real.
Hand in hand, through roads we tread,On the left side, safety led.In every step, my devotion expressed,For you, my love, I am truly blessed.
The road of love, where footsteps align,In your embrace, forever entwined.With each heartbeat, a testament true,I love you, always, just be mine too.

In the dance of our closeness, breaths entwine,Basorexia blooms, a desire divine.Words falter, unable to unveil,The depths of passion when our worlds set sail.
Beneath the cascade of rain's gentle kiss,Patrichor whispers, a tale of bliss.Hand in hand, a tremor takes its hold,As your fingers grace mine, a story unfolds.
Tresses like silken strands, a cascade of dreams,Brushing lips and trailing, like moonlit streams.In envy, I watch as they frame your face,Swept away, then gently tucked in place.
And oh, your fragrance, a spellbinding potion,Mesmerizing senses with tender devotion.In the symphony of us, where emotions reside,Every essence of you, my love, I confide.

In roses' grace, thorns' presence often hides,Their beauty masks the pain that dwells within,Yet if you dare to bare your wounded sides,I'll share my own, a journey to begin.
"Show me yours," the earnest plea I make,Reveal the burdens that your heart has borne,With empathy and love, we both partake,In healing wounds, we find a love reborn.
And in return, I promise without heed,"I'll show you hands, in willingness to bleed,"Together we'll confront the thorns we face,In unity, our love will find its place.
For every rose may bear its thorny creed,But through our shared pain, love shall succeed.

Moonlit Love Poem

In the velvet sky, the moon does gleam,

A distant love, a timeless dream.

Each night I gaze, my heart laid bare,

Confessing love to the celestial mare.

Though far apart, our souls entwine,

Distance be damned, our hearts align.

Tonight, the clouds, a jealous shroud,

Veil her beauty in a lunar eclipse, so proud.

Yet still, my love won't wane or fade,

For the moon and I, a bond well-made.

With craters and all, my heart's cocoon,

Oh, my lovely moon, return to me soon.

The stars above, they bear witness true,

To a love that's endless, a love so true.

They twinkle and dance, in celestial delight,

As I await the return of my lunar light.

Though time and space may try to sever,

Our connection, strong, it will not wither.

For the moon, my muse, in the heavens high,

Shall grace my night, once again, by and by.

In her silver glow, I find solace and grace,

A love that time nor distance can erase.

Oh, my lovely moon, in your embrace I'll swoon,

Please, come back to me, under the same stars and same moon.

In your presence, I truly belong.

Together we'll face the world so fine,

Underneath the starry night,

Our love shines with pure delight.

She's a match for my vibe, like a fairytale dream,The girl that my family adores, it seems.And as for me, it's not just a lie,I've fallen for her, my heart can't deny.
Love at first sight, it's what I believe,Escaping a toxic past, in her, I find reprieve.Only twice in a lifetime, I've known this sensation,She's a woman of beauty and admiration.

In shadows' guise, the myth of breakup lingers,Thou claimeth mutual parting, sweet deceit,Yet truth unveileth stark, thy fleeting fingers,Didst leave my heart, a wound so bittersweet.
Thou speaketh of regret to mask thy choice,To soothe thy conscience, mend thy wounded pride,Yet I, in steadfastness, didst raise my voice,And stood by thee through tempest's cruel tide.
I marked thy dates upon the calendar's page,And lent mine ear to every rant and plea,With love and patience, I didst engage,In mood swings and thy anger, I held thee.
So tell me, dearest, in this mournful plea,Why not me? Why not me, sweet destiny?

Heartbreak and Love Lost

In the shadowed corners of my heart, I tried,

To clear the obstacles, our love could not hide.

But, alas, you couldn't grasp my intent,

Leaving our love vulnerable, broken and bent.

I yearned to make us stronger, you see,

Yet, my efforts were in vain, couldn't you see me?

Addicted to your voice, I became, a willing slave,

But now, you've chosen silence, digging an early grave.

Once more, the pain sears like a fiery flame,

As I fear you're slipping, forgetting my name.

Yet, I must thank you for all that we've shared,

For in those moments, a love once so rare.

Your rants, your words, they cut like a knife,

Piercing my heart, causing endless strife.

Though I ache, I'll hold onto the memories we've sown,

For in the depths of heartbreak, love has grown.

But now, I must let go, for it's clear to me,

That your love has sailed, leaving a stormy sea.

I'll mend these shattered pieces, as I must,

And bid farewell to a love that's turned to dust.
