Digital Age
I've realized that I have been taking pictures long before the digital age and in fact, some of my work spans 2004 until Present which is my entry into the digital age. Before that I worked with film in cameras. It's amazing how much things have changed from no computers to most homes having something run by a cell or tablet or computer or laptop. There are kids who don't know how to write in cursive, kids that never saw a rotary phone. So much changes. I'm starting to understand how my Grandparents felt with the moon landing and everything happening when they started out with horses and carriages.

Projects
Today I took a break from the newest project and am doing a few kitty toys for Ramses the great. No idea if he'll ever play with them....but it's worth a try. He plays with everything he can get his paws on and has learned to open the closet door on his own. Kittens are absolutely brilliant at finding out how to do stuff you don't want them to. Once in awhile a break from regular projects for side projects isn't necessarily a bad thing. Thanks for reading my post!

Rainy Day Tuesday
The one thing that makes time go by is working on projects. Whether writing or otherwise. Always good to feel like you're accomplishing something. I prefer keeping busy and if that means working on a writing project or sewing project or cooking project or reading project, I always make sure I have something I can be doing. So, hope you have found something to do that will make your day go by in some pleasant way. Happy Rainy Day Tuesday!

Exciting news.
Just found that I have had two of my three books added to Indigo: https://www.chapters.indigo.ca/en-ca/...
and

They can all be found on the following link:

I'm currently contemplating another project.
Finally had a warm and sunny day...not incredibly warm, but warmer than the wind, rain, snow and dark of night we've been having. Thanks for your interest in A & J PEI Treasures and our books. We can be found on FB as A & J PEI Treasures and on Youtube.

Spring has Sprung
Spring has sprung....so to speak. Though we are either getting little bouts of snow or rain the last few weeks. It's Canadian Spring and depending on area, not always that unusual to see snow (though often we like to think it is). I remember some years ago, running through snow banks to get pussy willows for my mother for Mother's Day which is near. In Canada, it is this Sunday May 10. Wishing everyone a happy weekend and wishing all the Mother's out there Happy Mother's Day! Wishing a very special Happy Mother's Day to my own Mom. Thanks Mom!
Thanks for reading my blog.

Making Life Eco Friendly
First, we're pleased to announce that all 3 books are available on Amazon and different formats from Books2Read at the following book link list: https://books2read.com/rl/A-J-PEI-Tre.... Now on to the regular blog.
I like the idea of sustainable and eco-friendly world. No one is going to get this perfectly right. I'm not rabid about it, but when I can, I make the effort. Being realistically unrealistic, we use pallet boards for as much as we can, we use used items when we can. Some expect to have the 'perfect' world and that everyone should follow along. So, often we lose people along the way who would do what they can and it would be that much better. Remember that not everyone has the same needs, wants or abilities. One thing we need to learn is that putting down another does not build us up. The other thing we need to understand is that having boundaries is not a bad thing. You then have choices. Everything comes down to choices. I chose to write books during the pandemic because it gave me some control over the circumstances and I could use things I have been doing for years. I could feel productive. My husband continued work on our property. Other people make different choices. Doesn't mean they are right or wrong...depends on the person and the choice. Just because someone isn't walking on the same path as you doesn't mean they are on the wrong path....as long as no one is being harmed by what one does, not even oneself, then there is no wrong choice. So, go out and be realistically unrealistic and make yourself the best version of yourself that you can be. Have a great day :-)

Future world Dreams
I keep seeing posts about how this group or that group is now more important compared with authors, actors, sports people etc. In some ways, I can see the logic in what they say. The thing that bothers me is it is just a change in rhetoric. Just a change in who they see as more worthy, more important, more worthwhile. I would have liked to see a world developing where we see everyone as being important. No one more worthy or worthwhile or more important than anyone else. We will have difficulty moving forward into the future if we still find groups to put down, still find groups that are 'dispensable' I know there are those that will disagree, but the world I would love to see would acknowledge the clerk as important as the writer, the doctor as important as the gas station attendant, the nurse as important as the waste collection service person, etc etc. Changing rhetoric and not changing behaviour is not changing the world. We need to change both. So, go forward and be realistically unrealistic and make the world the place that you want to see...a better world, a better place. One where we respect ourselves and each other no matter what our jobs are...we are each special and individual and no more or less important than the other. Thanks for reading my blog. Have a wonderful day!

Realistic
First, I have to thank Goodreads staff for helpiing me out with my author page issue!
The one thing I can say, that if I just remained 'realistic', I would never have tried half the different things I have tried. Realistically most things should not succeed. Realistically most things I tried showed me ideas that just weren't working out well. Even books, it wasn't realistic to expect to get three done.
So, sometimes Realistic is good...like, I have to be realistic about my medical conditions and realize that I have certain limits that I have to work within.
But, never tell someone that their dreams are not realistic. You never know what someone can accomplish when they aren't told that they can't do something :-)
I'm not realistic...I save worms off the road and call it Operation Worm Rescue. I take glass off beaches (sharp nasty stuff) because we want to keep the oceans safe and beautiful. I'm totally not realistic. If I was, I'd just leave it as someone else's problem....but then, where would we be if everyone was just realistic. We'd never get anyone to the moon. We'd never be on computers. So be realistic, while still being unrealistic :-)
So, be unrealistic and make the world a better place. It has always rested within each of you and me. Each and every one of us can work and make this a better place. Stay home and stay safe.
Have a great day!
