The Journal's Importance
Daniel and I believe that we may have found someone who could help us with the case. It is a long shot, but worth a try. He knows a professor in Lochmist, North Carolina who could possible translate the note that is connected with one of the victims. I keep wondering to myself how all of this could be connected to my journal entry from two months prior. We will be traveling there at the end of the week.

Past Into Present
I have been looking into my adoption and how at the age of 2 was found wandering in a park alone. Now at the age of 24, I still have no clue where I came from and how my dreams or nightmares (a better way to describe them) might play a part in my past. I currently reside in South Carolina and I will start here.

Nightmares Return?
I am not sure I even want to be writing this because it makes it all too real. You see, this past couple of weeks I haven't had one single nightmare which is a rarity for me. I thought that maybe, just maybe I left them behind when I moved here, but I am not so sure after what happened at work today. What is strange is the fact that I can't really call what happened a nightmare because I was awake when it happened. This was unlike anything I have ever experienced before. If I had to describe it I would say it was like my previous nightmares but magnified ten-fold.

Second Encounter
Titus and I were able to enjoy a walk on the beach this evening but had to cut it short due to a strong storm moving in. I can always tell because I can feel it in the air around me. I also had another run-in with Officer Daniel Ramsay. You remember the one that showed up at my office the other morning. He showed up at my house. I had to let him in on what had happened the other night and he was not happy. I could hear the concern in his voice, but also a hint of anger. The concern I understand but anger? Not sure what to make of it.

Dream to Reality Added Content
I finally made it! It was a long and exhausting drive but here I am in Sumner, South Carolina. Tonight will be the first night in my new home, so I think I will celebrate by going out for some takeout. I think I know just the place.
Today marks the end of my first weekend in my new home and city. It has gone by somewhat uneventful. I say somewhat because during my little outing yesterday I ran into someone 'literally' on my way out of the small deli. If it hadn't been for his quick reflexes I would have hit the floor. I would describe this man for you but you wouldn't believe me.
My first day at my new job with Duncan and Donovan Law Firm started off a little strange. I had a visitor from the local police precinct before the office even opened. Let's just say that the encounter left me perplexed. The rest of the day went smoothly and I was able to make a few acquaintances from the office. Overall it was a good day.
I didn't mention it in my last post but I had a scare tonight. I found a box sitting in my kitchen when I got out of the shower and my kitchen door was ajar. The contents is a little strange. I am still trying to wrap my head around who came into my house and what the contents could mean.
After what happened last night I decided to go to my local animal shelter this morning and adopt a dog. I thought that I would leave the same way I came in, but Ace introduced me to Titus.

Writing Inspiration and Photography
This is the last place I thought I would ever find myself again, but here I am. I have to know the truth about what had happened that night. As teenagers, my friends and I were so carefree and our worries were so trivial. To think back on it, everything we let ourselves worry about back then had been irrelevant and insignificant up until that night. Things changed and I have never been able to get past it. Maybe if I know the truth ....

Unique Story Ideas (Updated)
Coming up with a unique story idea seems next to impossible, but I always feel up to the challenge. I start my stories with whatever world and characters my imagination creates and let it flow to see where it takes me. Any ideas are worth a chance to see if they can blossom into a great story. For me some stories work and others I put to the side for later if I am not feeling them. Dream World is one such story that I had put on the back burner for a while. I have always wanted to write an ongoing/serialized story and decided recently to make Dream World just that. I hope everyone enjoys reading Dream World as I get a chance to update it. Comments and questions are always welcome.
How do you find ideas for your stories?

,Sometimes You Need Motivation
I don't know about you, but occasionally I find it hard to push forward after starting a new chapter or beginning. Sometimes the direction doesn't feel right or not exactly where you want it to go. It tends to put a halt on the flow of the story. When that happens I like to take some time away from my story and characters and try to find inspiration through everyday life.
Currently I am trying to decide on a name for the second book in my Dream to Reality series. It will depend on the direction the story takes me. I might delve more into my protagonist's (Alexandra Connell's) life and how she came to be in her current situation or that could come at a later time.
