Nightmares Return?

I am not sure I even want to be writing this because it makes it all too real. You see, this past couple of weeks I haven't had one single nightmare which is a rarity for me. I thought that maybe, just maybe I left them behind when I moved here, but I am not so sure after what happened at work today. What is strange is the fact that I can't really call what happened a nightmare because I was awake when it happened. This was unlike anything I have ever experienced before. If I had to describe it I would say it was like my previous nightmares but magnified ten-fold.
