Happy New Year Talveons!
Talveons,
2022 is officially here.
Trying not to dwell on the negative of the last year as we move into a new year so I wanted to focus on the achievements in 2021.
On the family side of things, I turned 40 years old. My children have grown both physically and as wonderful people, I know they will be. My gorgeous husband works hard to provide for us and though life happens we are always a team, madly in love, and work together to make our family the best it can be. I'm very blessed as I found someone who is willing to help push me into reaching my goals in life.
In the world of Talveon, we've had a few achievements as well.

- Reached over 100 followers on Facebook
- Reached over 140 followers on Instagram
- Completed editing on Heritage: Choice
- Finished book cover for Heritage: Choice
- And of course...
PUBLISHED Heritage: Choice (Woooohoooo)
Clearly, this small list does not show the dedication and hard work that I need to put in behind the scenes. Though I try my best to take care of every little thing, I have to thank the editor and book cover designer for their amazing work on Heritage: Choice. I could not be happier with everything.
Also a huge THANK YOU to all of you.
Thank you for your support, kindness, love, and time! This truly has been an amazing journey and we are just getting started.
I'm not making any resolutions for 2022, however, I am making some goals.
- Over 200 Facebook followers
- Over 200 Instagram followers
- Work on book 3...no title yet. (Making lots of decisions on this book)
I have hope for this year in many, many ways but as someone once said you can't wait for things to happen, you need to make them happen. I won't be sitting on the sidelines this year waiting for something to happen. This first week of the year I'm heavily planning for what is to come. I intend to grab this year by the horns and use the momentum to catapult me to another level.

Preptober has begun.
For those who don't know NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) happens every November and the goal is 50,000 words during the month.
Preptober is making all the necessary preparations for this event. I will be posting a few tips and tricks in the next few weeks on my social media pages explaining some ways I prepare.
This will include projects to work on, how often, potential word counts each day, and more.

New Patreon Exclusive!
I've said it before but I'll say it again. Self Published, if done right, costs money, and even though most of us have a job of some kind bringing in a cash flow we could all use a little help. This is where Patreon comes into play.
For those not familiar Patreon is a way for creators, like me, to give back to the supporters who are willing to help with the financial burden with rewards and exclusive content, etc.
I'm so proud to have patreons who help support me. I honestly can not give them enough credit and I love to find new things to give to them as a huge thank you. So here is a post announcing something new just for them.
Back in June 2021, I reached out and asked them what else they wanted from me, and honestly, it was so sweet to hear all the feedback. It came down to more behind the scenes, and as a writer and author, there's not much to see except me behind my desk so I decided on a Monthly Zoom call.
This gives my Patreons the ability to join the community and provide ideas, feedback, and just general chit-chat about life and what's going on with everyone as well as any announcements.
The first month for the call was July and it was amazing. It was so good to sit down and answer questions about the book and things to come without spoilers. This month, September 2021, will be our 3rd meeting and it was requested that I read some of the books directly in my own words. I'm so excited.

Remembering September 11th & 12th!
Talveons,
As we reach another September 11th, I can only say we will never forget the events of that terrible day. September 12th however is the day I want to focus on.
We were one people. No races. No political differences. All suffering from heartbreak, yet we became stronger.
We are stronger together.
One people.
All Americans.
Hopefully, we can become that again someday.
