A perfect ending for the most loved series

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Stella Hart has given a prefect ending for the love story of Mason and Jolie in the last book of Original Sin Trilogy. I was spellbound when I read the book, the way Mason loves Jolie and how he finds and kills everyone who had taken her, has proved his love for her. Also whatever struggles she comes across Jolie, the way she believed he will come to save her, proves her trust on him. Wonderful story amazing finish. I loved it.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

It's really Complicated

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
The story of Madeline and Daniel is really complicated. They were best friends from childhood and wanted to be their first but they departed after that. Daniel dated and got engaged to Madeline's best friend. Now after 10 years when they meet for a high school reunion, there are more complications then they expected. The story was thrilling and also was present suspense content. But it failed to give justice to the blurb. It is said "Pregnant by the prick of my ex", I was expecting it will add to the complications but the only pregnant scene is in the epilogue.

Review: Best Man with Benefits

Best Man with Benefits by Aubrey Wright
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Always meant to be together
This is my first by Author Aubrey Wright and I'm very much impressed by her work. Best man with benefits is a wonderful love story. Two people Jacob and Chole who has always wanted each other but moved away though they have come closer few times for one person who they both love most. Chloe's brother Charles, who love both Jacob and Chole but believes in bro code...don't go near my sister.
The couple had to cross many odd to get back together finally. The book is a complete package with hotness, love, romance and glass shattering action. Chole is a strong woman and ready to face anything and Jacob, he is lover boy but still respects relationships and value them.
The one thing I couldn't get in this book is that, according to second flashback, Jacob wanted Chole front their teenage, also he took her cheery away but he failed to recognise her when he met after years in the first flash back. Other than that I loved everything in this book.

ExcerptCopyright @ 2019 Sylvia Kane
“I’m here for Corina Davies in 1205,” I respond, my nerves rattling even louder than five minutes ago when I was seized with the instinct to see her. “Is she expecting you?” he asks, resting his hand on the phone.I shake my head. The guy must think I’m a weirdo for just showing up like this. He’s going to call her for sure. Sure enough, he picks up the phone. “Ms. Davies, you have a visitor,” he says, and then looks back at me. “Your name?”I almost turn around to walk back out into the night, but I stay rooted to the spot. “Kurt. Kurt Owens.” “Kurt Owens. Thanks.” He turns to me again and nods. “Go ahead. Have a good evening.”I head for the elevator, and my heart rate rises with each step. She’s gonna think I’m fucking nuts for showing up like this at midnight. And why am I doing this again? What do I hope to achieve by interrupting whatever relaxing activity she’s enjoying at this time of night? I don’t know, but the thought of seeing her makes my palms sweat. I remember that skirt she wore, and how soft her legs looked. My cock twitches at the memory of her silky-smooth legs. Fuck. Down, boy. We’re not here for that.I step into the elevator and before I know it, I’m standing in front of her door, my hand in the air. What am I going to tell her? What’s my excuse for showing up here so late? At the very least, I have to admit it to myself — I just want to see her. I have to see her. There’s no denying the spark that flew between us the other night. All those years hadn’t done a damn thing to kill our chemistry. It sure is ballsy to just show up here. Maybe I’ve had a bit much to drink, but I’m not drunk. I’m not slurring or falling over myself. She won’t notice. Finally, I knock. She’s expecting me, because she opens up right away. Seeing her knocks the wind out of me. Her hair rests over her shoulders in this sexy, yet natural way; she has a hint of makeup, but not much. She doesn’t need any. She’s still a natural beauty, just like she was all those years ago. A light pink, silk robe clings to her body and ends just above the knees. She ties up the belt, very tight, as if afraid it might slip off any minute. Or that I might see what’s underneath. I try to push the thought from my head. “Hi,” I say, hoping I don’t look as awkward as I feel. I’m standing in her doorway, without any good reason whatsoever, like a doofus. She’d be perfectly justified in turning me away with some excuse about going to sleep or whatever. But, she doesn’t. She stands back to let me in. “Hi, Kurt.”I love the way my name sounds on her lips. Her lush, rosy lips. So smooth and kissable.

My Review
The 6th book in the Series by Sylvia Kane is a perfect Sixer
The book, I have been waiting in the series is finally out by my favorite author Sylvia Kane.
Working under your high school crush is trouble that too if he is your brother's best friend it a bigger trouble.
Corina is just out her favorite marketing job and struggling to find a new job. At this moment her friend and roommate moves out the apartment they share in 425 Madison Avenue, the place where everyone finds their perfect love story. But Corina's brother Liam enters as her savior when he moves to NYC to make a life and ready share the rent. The one thing Corina didn't expect was Kurt, her brother's best friend, her high school crush, enters with her brother.
Kurt has always wanted Corina but he was hesitant as she was his best friend sister but his attraction for her was never gone. Coming to know about her employment and single status he wants to enter more in her life. He offers her to be his legal assistant as he is in search of one and also by that chance, he can be closer to her. This time he is not just back, he is BACK FOR MORE.
Will both give in for their attraction? What will happen when Corina's traumatic past wounds surfaces back? is the remaining which perfectly scripted in a hot and sweet romance by Sylvia Kane. I loved this story and recommending it to all romance lovers.

Review: Under The Covers

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
The emotional side of the Dr. Feelgood
After seeing the naughtiest playboy side of Jacob Parker aka Dr. Parks (well known as Dr. Feelgood) in Between the Sheets, as prodigy of Dr. Aiden. Under the Covers dwells deep into his emotional part of the life where he has hurts and wounds and the reality under his playboy facade. After the older man younger woman romance in Between the Sheets, we get to read Older woman younger man romance in Under the Covers.
The second Dr. Crawford, i.e., Dr. Ansley Crawford, younger sister of Dr. Aiden Crawford is introduced as the second best neurologist in the world at Boston who is out of the 9 year old marriage life after finding her husband is not ready to have kids yet and killing the chances of it. She is not that much older than Dr. Parks but just 4 years.
Dr. Parks has been asked by Dr. Aiden to work in Boston for a month and provide his medical expertise where his sister being the head of the neurology with a warning not to...well feel good around his sister. Dr. Parks agrees as he never was interested in older woman but his thinking and life changes when he first time meets Ansley and wants her more when he finds out her craving for a child.
Is she is the woman who would make him settle for one leaving his playboy life? Is he is the man for whom Ansley always waited but entered little late into her life?
I received this book as an ARC, I loved this book and reviewing it voluntarily.

Review: Torment: A Dark Captive Romance

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
More Pain and Torment
The story starts in present after 8 years from where Taken has ended with Jolie leading a free life with PTSD from the New Eden and Mason stalking her after surviving the bomb plant by Jacob (Jolie's Dad). First two chapters go by what happened in the lives of Jolie, Mason and New Eden Sadistic, after the exposure of New Eden.
In Taken's prologue there was glimpse of Jolie being Mason's captive and how he claiming her killed his family and she was shocked to know what she did. But after reading the Taken, I personally felt like how a person who loves Jolie can take her as his captive. Towards the ending the author had given a clue that this might be the reason for him to captivates her and take revenge on her.
Torment has the ability to blow up the readers mind with lot of twists and turns. What really happened, what had been misunderstood, what decision that had been made changed their lives entirely and they both react knowing the truth. Though Mason torments Jolie in the worst brutal way, he loves her to the core. Whether it was Taken or Torment, during the ending if there is anyone I felt sorry, that was for Mason more than Jolie. Now have to wait for another one month to know where the story takes Mason and Jolie next.
Warning: Kind heartened people, please don't read this book. Even for a person like me who have read fair amount BDSM/dark romances, this book had shook me in few scenes.

Review: Love Under Construction

Love Under Construction by Aubree Valentine
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Jay and Liv - made for each other
Love Under Construction, the sixth book in the 425 madison series by Aubree Valentine is really an amazing story. I have been following every book in this series. The love story of Jameson (Jay) and Olivia(Liv) was so beautiful that would make anyone fall in love. It's Love for Jameson always and Hate Love for Olivia.
Being the kids of best friends they both brought up together and Jameson was given the responsibility to protect Olivia by their parents. Olivia had always felt that Jameson annoys her but he has been always loved and cared for her. Years pass by and Olivia working as a Teacher in resides at 425, Madison Avenue situated in the big apple. She always had a soft spot for specially abled people and comes up a concept of building a school "The Mason Center" for them with the help of Leo Eastman (from Must Love Coffee, Book 1 of the series). At the same time, Jameson moves temporarily to NYC and moves next door to Olivia to work on a construction. To their irony they find each other working together but a sad news calls Olivia back home.
This book has been given a tag line as Enemies to Lovers, but only Olivia has thought him as Enemy meanwhile Jameson has always loved her and they both had physical tensions towards each other for long time. I loved both the lead characters in the book, Jameson has stayed by her side whenever she needed though Olivia pushes him away she finally reaches out for him. Also it was good to meet characters from previous books, like Leo, Gwen, Jake and seems like Sara is the recurring character of this series. It was a quick read and I just loved the book. At last the construction was well built.

Review: Wife for Now

Wife for Now by Penny Wylder
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Now to Forever...Fantasy to Reality
Wife for Now is yet another hot short read by Penny Wylder. How the hidden office romance fantasy of Secretary Celia towards her CEO Luke comes to reality when he asks her to pretend to be his "wife for now"(weekend). But Luke has a secret hidden from Celia, what will happen when it reveals, will she be his wife for now or forever is the story. I voluntarily reviewing this book following the ARC I received. There is no chapter in the book without physical tension and loving making scenes. Fully scripted from the POV of the female lead as most of books of Penny Wylder's does. I enjoyed reading it. The book is a short read, didn't take more than 90mins for me to finish it and it was good reading time to let out some steam in this summer heat.
