Review: Best Friend Baby Daddy

Best Friend Baby Daddy by B. B. Hamel
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Love in the field of power war
I received this book as a ARC from the author and loved it, hence voluntarily reviewing it. The story is simple, Amy and Everest are best friends from their middle school for almost 16 years now. Everest's father wants to give away the power to his younger son, who poses as a family man though he is someone else behind the family. Everest comes with a proposition to Amy, more like reaches her out to help him becoming his wife. Both loved each other always but in a fear of losing the other, they never expressed their telling to each other. But has a married couple, they explore their carnal dreams about each other. This makes the life (and the book) very hot and results in Amy getting pregnant. But the following events makes her hesitant to reveal about it to him. How Everest handles the truth and how he manages to gain power over the company is the story. It's a smooth love story with siblings power game, not much of villainism, just the situations and secret threats the leading pair's relationship and they easily come over it. I loved it and recommend to all 18+ readers.

Review: Boyfriend Maintenance

Boyfriend Maintenance by Lauren Helms
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Heart warming love story
Boyfriend Maintenance by Lauren Helms is the fifth book in 425 Madison Avenue. This apartment has seen different types of love stories. In this series, all books are standalone and from different authors, and no other characters from other books repeated in another until Boyfriend Maintenance. This book mentions about Elisa Donovan and Match Me app from Swipe me Left, also gives a glimpse of Sarah from the same book, which gave a connected feeling that all love stories are happening at the same residential building.
Now getting into the story, Emma King, a rebellious girl from a rich family background with cosmetics business, who walks out of her fortune to lead a independent life. She lives with her best friend Becca at the 14th floor of 425 Madison Avenue. Emma's dad and stepmom, wants Emma and her brother Levis to get married into a rich family, so they arrange a marriage for Levis and plans to get Emma back with her Ex, Craig. But Emma hate the idea, as she never loved him and he was not a loyal lover. To avoid that she needs a fake boyfriend to attend her brother's wedding related events.
On the other end, Jake Harper works in the maintenance of 425 Madison Avenue, he is the most wanted hottest handyman of the residence by women. But Jake never liked about their advances as he has a policy to not mixing personal and profession. He tries dating using match me app but not able to find a perfect match after meeting in real. He dreams to buy a house in a island and settle after saving enough money. But his current needs challenge his financial conditions to achieve his dreams.
Both meet, when he comes to repair Emma and Becca's kitchen, the one house he feels safe

Review: Caught Up In Love

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Finding love, building boat and relationship together.
Caught up in love is an amazing package of a romance read by Weston Parker. The story was simple and precise, not too much drama. Greyson, tired on living a stereotype city life in New York as a CEO for his friends company and having NSA and ONS, looking at his friend Eric settled with two kids makes him to crave for true love and a family for himself. So he decides to take an early retirement very very early retirement at the age of 29 and moves to Maine in the hopes of finding true love and to build a boat for himself and sail across.Sage, a small town girl who has never left her town, working in a lumber yard and staying in her house. She is an artist but never exposed it to the outside world. Having a best friend Lissa, expect her other thinks Sage as a witch or wiredo for her passion and lifestyle. She wanted to date but always waited for the right person to give herself until the age of 27. When the two people from different worlds meet, physical attraction turns into eternal life and leads to an eternity. While reading the story I was likes, will he be the villain or will she become the villain, but it turns the situation, misunderstanding and miscommunication becomes the villain. How the couple overcomes it is scripted and presented well to reader by Weston Parker. I just loved the book and voluntarily reviewing the ARC.

Review: Taken: A Dark Captive Romance

Taken: A Dark Captive Romance by Stella Hart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Self protracted Godman, malevolent, misguided women and misunderstood knight
Previously in Torn, it was described about the how the women of the New Eden killed and how Jacob manipulated everyone to believe in his new rules and the suppressed the girls who grown up into women as salves. Also there was quite little crush story of Jolie on Mason and his promise to meet her. He completes forget about it until he finds out Jolie is alive and unattainable woman with beauty.
Though I was sick after reading about the new Eden's stipulations, I was interested and waiting to see, how Mason becomes a savior of the women of New Eden.
But in Taken, the story starts in present where Jolie finds out about the truth of father and the other elder men, and escapes from New Eden. But she is captured by a mysterious man who is relieved to be Mason with a scare on his face as he claims that Jolie ruined his life. Also Jolie's regret of what she had done to him. This really piqued my interest more. How a person who wanted to win her for a bet is scared due to her and how she hurt the man she once loved.
The answers for my question came up when the story is taken back to 2010 where Jolie and other woman were still believe what Jacob preach and living a misguided life of Salves. Mason arrives there and on his first arrival he guess about the truth about the community and wants to help the woman also take Jolie, so plays along with Jacob and does everything to get into the community. How he gathers the evidence against the New Eden and What role Jolie played in ruining his life is the story of this book.
I should have to mention, that the author, Stella Hart becoming a maestro in writing dark romance. I haven't read her contemporary romance book but with her previous books and this one she thinks more darker. Also with her books she talks about how the world can abuse any woman with sick men like Tobias and Jacob. I liked this book and liked the character of Mason and really felt sorry for him towards the end of the book. But i still want to give it a four star as it is too dark for people with weak heart to read.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Review: Falling for the Devil: Book 1 in The Gods & Monsters Trilogy

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Lucifer in love
We have seen the Lucifer Morningstar's humors side in Lucifer and the pure devilish side in Chilling adventures of Sabrina, now it's time to see his romantic side as Andrew. Andrew comes to earth to claim Harleen's soul, a girl who had a tough life and struggles to finishes her high school with all her life issues. Harleen's uncle trades her soul for wealth to the devil, but Andrew waits for her consent and when she gives it in a playful way he takes her to hell. Hell is just a name but the author presented it like a hi-tech kingdom with chariots instead of cars. There is a bookstore and also mobile. Finally, the Devil develops a heart when he falls in love with his wife and become vulnerable and stays loyal for her.

Review: Basket Stuffer: An Easter Romance

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
An hot Easter romance before Easter and it's hot as summer
Penny has once again thrown her charm of writing quick reads. This book has starts with a bang... literally a 'bang'ing and ends with the same. It has everything in the book, two single parents one let down and the other betrayed by their partners. The love and instant attraction of Pippa and Bernard has been scripted with righteous amount of emotions and desire. This book also talks about women individuality and it's importance. A wonderful book in a short and steamy package.
I loved it and leaving an voluntary review for the ARC, I received.

Savannah
I didn’t think I was missing anything. I had my son, a great career, and a home that I’d made for both of us. One puck over the glass at a hockey game made me realize I wanted more. The larger - than - life hockey player inserted himself into our world and I never wanted to let him go.
The thing is, I don’t know if I’m strong enough to keep him.
Porter
My home was on the ice, with a stick in my hand and a puck on my tape. It took one little boy with a toothless smile and his spitfire mother to change all that. I wanted them to be my home and I was willing to take all the penalties necessary to make it happen.
Now I just have to convince her that we can handle it all together.
Melding three lives into one isn’t as easy as it seems, especially with the traveling, the media, and the insecurities. Savannah and Porter have to decide whether to use the breakaway to head to the goal or take a seat on the bench.
After all, 425 Madison Avenue is the perfect place to fall in love.
*Each story is completely standalone.
My Review
Yet another heart warming love story from the 425 madison series
The fourth book in the 425 Madison Series, Two for Holding is all about a love between a single mom and a hockey player. I just loved this story, from the beginning till the end, it was amazing. I have read few other single mom romance story where the Male protagonist first fall for the Female protagonist and later start liking the kid but in this story Porter's first attraction was Savannah's son and later his eyes falls on Savannah and their love journey starts. Really a time worth reading, I enjoyed every single page of the story and voluntarily reviewing it for the ARC, I received.

ExcerptCopyright @ 2019 Kay Gordon
Hamilton was spelled out across the back, right above his number. A grey C was on the front, right above the left breast, and I knew right away it would fit me. Also in the bag was a matching jersey, although quite a bit smaller, and I felt my heart pounding in my chest.Porter Hamilton was surprising me at every turn.Moving to my feet, I tugged off the sweatshirt I had on and pulled the jersey over my head. A slight thrill went up my spine at the thought of wearing his name on my back. I turned to look at my friends and held my arms out.“How does it look?”Holly gave me a thumb’s up while John nodded his head in approval.“You’re a real hockey girlfriend now.”I rolled my eyes and took my seat when our food and drinks showed up. I’d just finished off a hotdog when a slew of skaters hit the ice for warm - ups. The crowd cheered like crazy and people pushed towards the glass, trying to get the attention of their favorite players. My eyes found number twenty - two almost immediately. He wasn’t wearing a helmet and his eyes were laser focused on the ice as he took several laps around the net. I watched his tall, powerful frame as he skated with purpose. That man was sexy as hell.Porter finally looked up from the ice and glanced over to where we were. A smile hit his face instantly and he skated until he was standing at the glass in front of us, tapping on it with his stick. He pulled a glove off one hand and crooked a finger at me.I cleared my throat and stood from my seat. He flicked his fingers again, indicating I should turn, so I did, allowing him to see his name and number on my back. When I faced him again, a look a pride had overtaken his features. He said something but it was so loud that I couldn’t hear what it was. I shook my head and gestured to my ear, causing his grin to widen. He pointed to me and said it again, slower that time, making it easy for me to read his lips.“You’re so beautiful.”My cheeks immediately blazed and I fought to keep from averting my eyes. “Thank you.”Porter just grinned again and glanced behind me to where John was standing with a look of boyish excitement on his face. The hockey player jerked his chin at him in greeting before giving me another grin. He held his hand up in a wave, shoved the glove back on, and turned to skate back to his team. “Wow.” Holly looked at me with wide eyes as I sat back down. “That boy has it bad.” He wasn’t the only one.

Review: The Billionaire's Accidental Baby

My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Over Friendly Ex-Employee and Money minded Ex-Boss together makes a baby
The billionaire's Accidental Baby is the first book in Billionaire and Babies series by Leslie North. Brian, the CEO of the company where Connie is working as a developer keeps on trying to become a Billionaire from a multi millionaire. He had a rough childhood and now he is trying to cross the small path to become a Billionaire. Brian and Connie both have physical attraction on each other but when Connie tries to impress Brian before an investor and it backfires making him lose the deal, he fires her. Both reach the bar separately but ends up together and leaves to his house to end up in bed.
Two months later, Brian is dating Felicia, who could help him in reaching the goal of becoming the billionaire, he proposes for both marriage(without Love) and business merge to her and she agrees. Then arrives a news for him, when Connie comes to him and says she is Pregnant.
Already Brian was struggling between his goal and feeling for Connie but he decides to chose his goal over Connie, at first. With Felicia, they make a NDA, but meeting and being with Connie for her pregnancy issues, makes him more confused on his decision. How he finally comes to his sense is the remaining story.
I received an ARC and voluntarily reviewing it. To be honest, I didn't like the story, very much. Neither Connie nor Brian, ready to fight for what they really want. Brian, being a jerk as he agrees by himself at the near of the story, chooses his billionaire dream but even Connie didn't show much interest in expressing her feeling for him. Their was no seriousness in their love story, everything seems to be more casual. Suddenly Brian jumps to chose Connie, when he finds Felicia betrays him (business wise). It would have been more truthful when Brian chooses Connie before knowing about Felicia's doing. This is what I felt about the book, when I read it. I'm giving only 3 stars for the book.

Review: Torn: A Dark Captive Romance

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Seems like this is gonna be more darker than the previous books of Stella Hart
When I received the ARC from Stella hart, I was very excited to read and review this book. The prequel consists of four chapters completely in the past two in late nighties and two in 2010. It was pleasing to read the first chapter to read it from a seven years old girl's POV about her first crush, the next was terrifying to read about and the fourth was normal. But the third where the part of how woman are treated really irritated me, like hell. It was not New Eden, it was New Hell. I hated Prophet Jacob more than I hated Tobias King of Dark Dynasty. I'm really waiting to read how Mason saves Jolie from the Hell called New Eden in the upcoming books of Original Sin.
PS: Stella Hart is really good in naming the communities in her series. The Circle (Heartbreaker), Crown and Dagger (Dark Dynasty) and now New Eden (Original Sin)
