Help Me Overcome My Unbelief
I imagine he was mentally and emotionally exhausted. For years he searched unsuccessfully for the healing his son needed. He tried everything within his own power, but his son’s suffering continued.
Desperate for something — anything — to work, he turned to Jesus.

We find the account of this man’s story in the books of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. At a very young age, an evil spirit possessed the boy. We aren’t given the details around the years nor the search for healing. But the story ...

How to Find Courage to Trust God in Prayer
Finding the courage to trust God isnt a simple ask-and-receive. I think its because of the battle our soul fights with our fleshly nature. You may pose arguments to this statement, but I believe that no matter how flexible of a person we are, something within us longs for control. When we ask God for that courage, He does give it. Nothing Is Impossible With God but You Need to Remember THIS First
I remember gazing around her home. The essence of family and of love so present I thought could almost physically touch it. That moment was over 20 years ago, yet I still vividly remember it today.
They lived in a gorgeous home. Her kids were splashing loudly in the pool as her husband reached for some of the treats laying on the kitchen counter. To me, it felt as though Id stepped into my forever dream a dream I no longer believed possible.
At the time, I was convinced my future held...

However, as my son darted for the gated ‘Do Not Enter’ zone near the lion exhibit, neither belly nor foot would stop me from keeping him from harm.
When Insecurity Rises Up Can you imagine the sight? Can you imagine the chuckles and eye rolls as I waddled through the...

We are all in a season of our own, yet a season that still holds resemblances to one another’s. It’s that place where empathy resonates, yet complete understanding of another’s walk remains unknown.

Christmas Is A Time to Give — But Do We Remember Why?
Entering the house, they saw the child with Mary His mother, and falling to their knees, they worshiped Him. Then they opened their treasures and presented Him with gifts: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. -Matthew 2:11 HCSB

Long ago, amid chaos, uncertainty, and the darkness of the night, the first Christmas gift was given. It was a gift that would last for all eternity. One born out of love and mercy — a gift of hope.
God gave us His only son to walk...
