Roe: Chicago Mayor Pushes Violent Insurrection

Words matter, right? That’s been the prevailing message of the left for years, but if you thought they’d hold themselves to their own standard, you’d be wrong.Alright, no one thought that, so Lori Lightfoot appearing to push for a civil war via a “call to arms” and a challenge to “fight” an unelected body like the Supreme Court isn’t at all surprising. It’s the ultimate cliche given the transparent bias in the news industry but imagine for a second that a Republican put these tweets out.

Definitionally, a “call to arms” has a very specific meaning. “Arms” means weapons, and Lightfoot is calling to use them to enact a political outcome. There’s a word for that, too, but no doubt the Chicago mayor will claim she meant her tweets in the most peaceful way possible. That makes no sense, though, given the language used, but that will be the excuse, and that’s if the media even press her to give one.

Congress to vote on $40B more Ukraine funding

Congressional negotiators struck a deal on a nearly $40 billion legislative plan aimed at delivering additional military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine, which could be brought to the House floor as soon as Tuesday.
The additional money has been detached from supplemental pandemic funds, making the bill easier to pass swiftly through both chambers. Top Republicans previously stated that they would try to block the bill if the two priorities were linked.
The $39.8 billion provided for in the deal is an increase over the Biden administration’s initial request of $33 billion as Ukraine fights back against Russia.
While President Joe Biden has pushed for Congress to pass both Ukraine aid and $10 billion in additional COVID-19 relief, he expressed support for uncoupling the issues in hopes of speeding up the process of providing resources to the war-ravaged country.

Monday, during an appearance on FNC’s “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Sen. Rand Paul (R‑KY) said he was working with lawmakers to dissolve Biden’s so-called Disinformation Governance Board.
The Kentucky Republican lawmaker said he opposed policing news organizations and argued determinations about “disinformation” should be left up to the public.
“We’re going to shut it down,” he said. “And I’m busily getting signatures from other senators. There is a way that we can get it onto the calendar. Look Who Paid Off Hunter’s $2Mil Tax Bill…

A Hollywood lawyer who represented the creators of “South Park” and even won a Tony Award as co-producer of “The Book of Mormon” reportedly paid off Hunter Biden’s $2 million delinquent tax bill.
Kevin Morris, an entertainment attorney, paid off the president’s son’s past taxes “totaling over $2 million — more than twice what was previously reported, a source familiar with conversations between the two told” the New York Post.
“Morris, whom Hunter Biden’s friends call his latest ‘sugar brother,’ has also been funding the 52-year-old’s lifestyle in Los Angeles — including his rent and living expenses, the source said. The attorney has also been advising the president’s son on how to structure his art sales, according to the source,” the Post reported.

‘Full Frontal’ OKs Protests at Justices’ homes

Samantha Bee once raised a ruckus over a gag targeting Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Now, her signature show is cheering on protesters who are making life miserable, and worse, for five pro-life Supreme Court justices … at their homes.
Bee, host of TBS’s low-rated “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee,” shared a ghastly Tweet this week saying the pro-choice protesters are justified in their behavior.
Is there another way to decode this attempt at humor?
If Kavanaugh doesn’t like the way people in his state are gathering outside his house, maybe he can just take off work and drive hundreds of miles to a different state.

The protests are tied to an illegally leaked draft opinion suggesting the Supreme Court may soon overturn Roe v. Wade.
It’s worth noting the Biden White House initially gave the green light to this behavior when pressed on the issue late last week. White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki admired the protesters’ “passion” and couldn’t envision the obvious, nor did she caution against protesting at a justices’ home.
They gave the protesters their tacit approval. Period.

The fact that the major social media platforms have had their thumbs on the scales in favor of liberal and Democratic causes has long been obvious to far more people than just Elon Musk.
