HUGE NEWSPAPER ARTICLE! Making Friends with Alice Dyson (and my big face) appeared in the Age Newspaper as a fresh new voice in YA! Gosh!

Check out my big face, which appeared in the freaking Age newspaper recently, which sort of blew my mind! How cool is this!?

I was extremely excited to be included on this amazing list of new YA fiction authors!!

I was so excited to see this review of my debut, Making Friends with Alice Dyson in the SA Weekend section of the paper recently!

The review is written by Katharine England and is just so lovely (and also written so well! She gets across so much in such a teeny tiny small space! Very cool!).

It is really exciting for me to see stuff like this! Which is basically why I'm keeping track of it all here on my blog!

So .... this was my first ever podcast interview!

Was I nervous?
Yeah I actually was a little nervous, but it was fun too!
Even though it was scheduled at 4,30am in the morning on an absolutely boiling summer day!

Wow.
Cover endorsements from amazing authors.
The stuff of dreams!
And also kind of nightmares because.... scary.
 


This process was utter heaven and utter hell! It was so extreme and kind of awful, but also cloud nine wonderful too.

Which was complex and confusing. 
Basically authors I admire and respect had my book in their hands, and the plan was for them to (hopefully) be reading it and formulating opinions on my work, all in the hopes that they might like it enough to prov...
