Oisin's Dolmen
A beautiful dolmen (wedge tomb) in a rather marshy area in Co. Clare. Like many dolmens in the area it is also known as Dermot & Grania's Bed, following the Irish folk tale.

The long barrow is surrounded by 62 kerbstones. Especially on the narrow sides they are very large, clear heights are up to 3m. The chamber passages are parallel and open to the southern long-side of the barrow.

Råneset (Førde)
Rock Art in Sogn og Fjordane. On a rock slab panel just 10 metres up from the shoreline is a panel with the remains of typical bronze age boat carvings. According to Kulturminnesøk the panel has been registered just recently and very little information is available, however I found at least three carvings.

Le Petit Ménec
Stone alignments to the northeast of Carnac. Rather confusingly, Petit-Menéc is at the opposite, eastern end of the alignments to le Menéc village at the western end. The menhirs are in the forest on your right, arranged in a gentle curve. You don't get the same clear overview of the alignments since the view is obscured by the trees, but there is a unique magic to the stones lurking in the forest.

Kalhaganeset
Just next to the main highway is a very pretty round barrow which does not seem to have any damage and has a beautiful view over the Maurangsfjord. The barrow is 17-18 metres across, the outer edge somewhat unclearly marked so that it blends in with the encircling ditch. The height is around 2 metres. The barrow is completely covered with thick turf, but must be built of stones/blocks. A few cherry trees grow on the barrow..
