Amelie C. Langlois is a Canadian author with a passion for crafting genre-bending horror stories that challenge expectations. She loves combat sports, all things mechanical, and media that champions the strange and surreal. She has a BA in Film Studies and Creative Writing from UBC.

Influences include the early Silent Hill series, along with its sound design by Akira Yamaoka, and the Dark Souls series; atmospheric music such as Recoil, Sunn))), Rhea's Obsession, and Portal; the directorial style of Dario Argento, Tarsem Singh, Atom Egoyan, and Arkasha Stevenson; the art of Zdzislaw Beksinski and Junji Ito; and the writings of Algernon Blackwood, H. P. Lovecraft, and Mark Z. Danielewski.
