Actual rating: 3.25 stars
Explicit content: Lots and lots of gore, mild cursing, death.
Recommended for: Any fan of SCP or extreme eldritch horror/gore short stories

This book by Amelie C Langloiswas definitely dark, disturbing and full of very vividly described gore, to say the least. It was also a rather dim view of how important we Earthlings are compared to the galaxies out in space. These stories detailed one group's efforts to protect mankind from extinction from beings from other worlds who came to destroy the earth, while other "beings" helped try and protect it. This book was amazingly well written. I was impressed with how horrifyingly descriptive it was, it really took you to a terrifying place. I received a free copy and enjoyed it so much I had to leave a review. I cant wait to look into what other books this author has written.
