Revised and Corrected: The Wooden Sword
I have completed the revision of The Wooden Sword (Guardian Maidens Book 1) and the new edition is live on Amazon. If you have been waiting for the revisions, or want to read it again, it's ready to go. Book 2, The Edge of Harmony, went through a round of corrections, but not a full revision.
I do revise my books and when I find errors I correct them. My understanding is that if you delete a book from your Kindle device, and then re-download it, you should get he latest version. Check the edition number of the one you have, or look at the title page, and compare it with the one on Amazon if you have a question. The publication date doesn't change with each revision.
For minor updates I don't always post a notice here, but for substantial revisions like this one, I will. Of course, that only matters if you are waiting for a revision or plan to read a book again.
Next up is The Watcher (The Nogud Legacy, Book 4). It will take a few weeks to get the editing finished. The Watcher doesn't have much action maybe, but it's setting up for book 5, The Warrior. The stories are about transformation. In book 4, we find the last of the Nogud and learn more about Joshua's history.
Of course, the main history comes in the series about Joshua's grandfather, Robby and The Girls On The Hill. We travel back from the year 2903 all the way to the roots in 2015 and start moving forward again. Unfortunately, we may not get to publish that story for quite a while. But we'll be happy with a few more Nogud stories and another Guardian Maidens, and maybe even a new Shrine Maidens if possible.

Next up: More Guardian Maidens
OK, the first book of the Shrine Maidens is published and a paperback version of The Wanderer is available on Amazon. I always wrestle with what to do next. I want to revise the earlier books to give readers the best editions that I can, but I also want to give you new parts of the epics that reveal more of what's unfolding.
Today I'm working on a revised edition of The Wooden Sword. This was the first book that I published and I have learned to be more careful and use a few more tools to make sure that the text will have fewer distracting errors. Some of the Amazon reviews weren't especially kind, but wow, you Goodreads readers have been really complimentary with your ratings. Thank you. I write for me, but I do enjoy making you happy where I can. My heroes just want to make their worlds a better place, and giving you something that you enjoy feels like I get to do that in a small way, too.
So, The Wooden Sword is getting a revision. It won't take long. Then I'll do a revision of The Edge of Harmony, and when those are done, we'll publish the third book of the Guardian Maidens of Sturgil's Mark: The Heart of The Falcon. It's all about Shaheen's story and we learn more about where Ronin and the girls are from. I like it.

Announcing "The Start of Time"
I just pushed the button to publish "The Start of Time: Shrine Maidens of Barsoom, Book 1".
As I've said, I like this story. Of course, if you didn't like my other books, you won't like this either, but I know that many of you do enjoy them, and have asked for more, and here it is. It should be up on Amazon in a few hours, or maybe by tomorrow morning if all goes well.
The is a new series that takes place on John Carter's planet of Barsoom. One of our Jensen family men finds his way to the Red Planet and harem hijinks ensue. It's a hundred years after ERB wrote about John's adventures on Barsoom and a lot has changed. The Shrine Maidens have been waiting for a hero from Earth, and Mark Jensen fits the bill.
I hope that a few of you enjoy it. I know I do.

Coming soon...Shrine Maidens of Barsoom
I'm working on the production and editing of the next book. I really like this one. It may be published in another 7 to 10 days. The story is that Mark, a recent widower, finds an original manuscript of his favorite author and mine, Edgar Rice Burroughs. Mark is convinced that it was actually written by John Carter and that the cave with the portal to Barsoom might be real. It looks like a lot of the stories about Carter were fictionalized to some degree, but it turns out that one thing was true: the Princesses of Barsoom really are naked. And Mark meets the Shrine Maidens. And they teach him the customs of his new home on a foreign planet.
This is the first book. There's more to come.

The Wanderer, Revised and Corrected 3rd Edition
I just pushed the button to publish the revised and corrected 3rd edition of first book of The Nogud Legacy, The Wanderer. The story doesn't change, but the writing isn't as stiff and the dialog isn't as archaic, and the errors that I could find have been corrected. I expect it to be live on Amazon tomorrow. If you downloaded it or purchased it, but haven't read it yet, get the updated version. The Title page says 3rd Edition.
Thank you again if you read and enjoyed any of my books so far. I plan to do revisions of all of the books as soon as I can. And if any of you want a physical Paperback edition, that may be coming as well.

I owe you a second edition.
The Wanderer has been a much bigger success than I had ever imagined it could be. And it continues to grow. Thank you to all of my readers.
But I owe you something. I owe you a new updated edition. Look, I didn't know what I was doing at first. Navigating the Amazon publishing system took some learning, and at first, my efforts went into learning that, not careful editing of the books themselves. I thought that I'd done a pretty good job, but I was more focused on how to deliver the books rather than the quality of the books. It's astounding that so many of you like them anyway.
The books will be better with a second edition. The dialog will take on an easier to read style, the spelling and other errors will be cleaned up substantially, and a few strange parts of the story will be clarified. Mostly, I'll feel like I gave you a better book. I'm about 15% into the second edition now. It will take another week or so. I don't want to discourage anyone from reading the current edition, but I do want all of you to get the second edition when I finish it.
After I publish the second edition of The Wanderer, I will do the same with the Nogud book 2, and then the Guardian Maidens. They can all be better. I owe that to you. Nogud Book 3 is better as it is, but I will update that for any errors that are found as well.
Some of you might prefer that I focus on new books, and thank you for your encouragement, but it's important to me that I take just a little time to give readers of The Wanderer a major update. Another new title will appear soon.

I like this story. We learn more about Joshua's background and family. But, it's all leading up to Book 5, The Warrior. Book 5 isn't the end, it just has more zombies.
