Filthy Rich Vampire (Filthy Rich Vampires Book 1) by Geneva Lee Albin
This is the first book in the Filthy Rich Vampires series.
Julian Rousseaux has a problem. He’s single, and for the world’s wealthiest vampires, the social season is about to begin. Julian would rather stake himself than participate in the marriage market. But as the eldest, eligible Rousseaux he’s expected to find a wife before the season ends—whether he likes it or not.
When cellist Thea literally stumbles into his life at a gala, he knows she’s the last person he could ever fall in love with. She’s too innocent, too kind, and way too human. But now that she knows about his world, she’s also a walking target. She needs protection. He needs a fake girlfriend to discourage overzealous vampire matchmaking.
So, Julian makes Thea an irresistible offer: pretend to be his lover and he’ll change her life. For one year, they’ll attend the season’s social events together in exchange for his protection and a way out of her mother’s crippling medical debt.
She can’t say no. But the vampire world is impossibly decadent and darker than Thea ever imagined, and Julian’s filthy rich vampire family wants her out of the way. But with each moment they share, new dangers emerge: a desire as forbidden as their stolen touches, an awakening of a long-dead heart, and secrets that could tear them both apart.
I absolutely loved reading this book. The characters were fantastic and I loved the story.
I love Julian, but I am so mad at him after the ending. He is such a gentleman. He’s almost perfect. I love Thea as well. She’s strong enough to deal with everything and she does try to put him in his place. I love her character. Julian and Thea are fantastic together. I’ve loved watching them grow and seeing their relationship develop. And then the end happened. God, I am so mad.
The plot is brilliant. Julian is using her to get out of the Rites and Thea is happy to go alone with it. It becomes real though. They belong together. I love the spark between them and I just wish that they would go the except step.
I love how vampires are in this. It’s a different spin and yet it keeps to what we know. It been brilliant to read.
I am so angry with Julian after the ending though. This was a painful cliffhanger. I can’t wait to read the next book. I swear, if Julian doesn’t get his shit together…
Actually, I’m mad at his mum. God, she sucks. He better fix his mess in the next book.
Overall, this book was brilliant. I would definitely recommend it.

Ivy and Roses (Ivy Lessons Book 5) by SK Quinn
This is the fifth book in the Ivy Lessons series.
An older man, younger woman romance simmers between a strict teacher and his young pupil … and a husband must be obeyed …
With a beautiful new baby to love, Sophia’s life should be complete. But Marc’s need to protect his family is as strong as ever, and soon Sophia feels stifled.
Against Marc’s wishes, Sophia accepts a steamy new movie role, starring opposite well-known lady’s man, Benjamin Van Rosen.
Furious that Sophia would ignore his advice, Marc insists on being in the movie too. The movie company can hardly refuse Marc Blackwell – one of Hollywood’s most respected stars, and a man who is known for being both sought-after and highly selective.
At first, Sophia is angry that Marc is so controlling. But when she realises Marc will play the teacher to her student, she admits to being curious.
Soon, obsession, love and their older man younger woman taboo romance become intertwined, as Marc and Sophia play out their forbidden romance – both on and off camera.
I really enjoyed reading this book. I love the characters and the story is good.
I love Marc and Sofia. I’ve loved watching their relationship grow and develop. It’s been great seeing them adjust to having a baby.
The storyline was great and there was lots of drama in this one. Sofia is unsettled and restless while Marc is as controlling and protective as ever. Naturally he doesn’t want Sofia staring in the new film so he gets a part himself.
It was good seeing them practice scenes together. He taught her while the plot also followed their own life a bit.
There was drama with one of his ex things plus drama between Jen and Leo. Sofia questions her life and choices, but everything eventually works out.
I’ve loved reading this series and seeing Sofia and Marcs journey together. Their relationship has been great and this book ended well. I would definitely recommend this series as the story is great, even though it could probably do with another round of edits. I think the plot and characters are good enough that it didn’t bother me at all.

The Blackwell Lessons (Ivy Lessons Series 4) by SK Quinn
This is the fourth book in the Ivy Lessons series.
Marc Blackwell is as controlling as ever, and determined to keep Sophia in line.
Sophia can only hope that her light will soften Marc’s darkness. And that as his wife she can show him what love truly means.
But one things is for certain. In marriage, Mr Blackwell is in charge. And Sophia must learn to obey …
I enjoyed reading this book. The characters are great and I love the story.
I love Marc and Sofia. It’s great seeing them settle into married life. Marc is as controlling as ever, but he also knows and accepts that Sofia is of her own mind. She knows how to deal with him.
It was interesting seeing her film her first movie and seeing how Marc dealt with it, especially with the pregnancy.
Marc has his secrets and Sofia trusts him to tell her when the time is right, but as usual, it be er works out that way. He needs to learn to just tell her. It would save a lot of problems.
It’s interesting with all the other secondary characters. I love Leo and Jen together and I loved seeing Leo and Sofia film the movie together.
Overall, I love reading this series and would definitely recommend it.

The Dealer (Sunsets Club Book 1) by A.N. Stauber
After matching with billionaire casino owner, Becker King, at the local sex club, Nora Williams learns that he just may be the key to dealing with her Sensory Processing Disorder.
Nora loves to beg her Sir for attention, and Becker loves praising his good little kitten.
This was a great novella to read. The characters were great and I enjoyed the story.
Nora was a great character and I liked learning about her Sensory Processing Disorder and how she dealt with it.
Becker was brilliant and I loved how he understood her. They came from different backgrounds, and yet it didn’t matter. He wanted to treat her and yet she didn’t want to rely on him. They found a good middle ground together.
I loved reading their journey and watching their relationship grow. The scenes were hot and I loved their dynamic.
Overall, this was a great, enjoyable, quick read and I would definitely recommend it.

Bound By Ivy (Ivy Lessons Series 3) by SK Quinn
This is the third book in the Ivy Lessons series.
An older man younger woman romance simmers between a strict teacher and his young pupil … but will forbidden love last?
When drama student, Sophia Rose, falls for her teacher – the dark and brooding Hollywood star, Marc Blackwell, she has no idea where their older man younger woman taboo romance will end.
Drawn into Marc’s shadowy world of strict discipline and control, Sophia awakens a secret erotic self she never knew existed – and finds herself deeply, obsessively in love.
Now Marc wants Sophia to be his forever. But Sophia can’t commit to marriage without her family’s approval, and her father doesn’t trust Marc – yet.
Sophia’s father says he will only approve of the marriage if Marc and Sophia can pass the ultimate test. Three months apart. Can Sophia and Marc’s May to December romance stand the separation? Or will Marc’s jealousy and Sophia’s friendship with co-star, Leo Falkirik, drive them apart?
I loved reading this book. The characters were great and I enjoyed the story.
I love how Marcs and Sofia’s relationship has grown and developed. It’s been great watching his falls cone down and to let Sofia in. His love for her is endearing.
I feel that Sofia’s dad was a little harsh. He took out his heartbreak on them which was unfair, especially considering which day it was when he gave them the ultimatum.
They found it hard, but I think it strengthened their relationship. They knew that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together by the time the three months ended.
Even in those months, Marc was there for her in every way. I loved how he tried to be there without breaking any of her dads rules.
The story was good with the threats that Sofia faced. Marc proved that he would do anything to save her.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I would definitely recommend it.

Where the Ivy Grows (Ivy Lessons Series Book 2) by SK Quinn
This is the second book in the Ivy Lessons series.
An older man / younger woman taboo romance simmers between a strict teacher and his young pupil … and it’s time to disobey…
When Sophia first meets Hollywood actor and Ivy College teacher, Marc Blackwell, she never dreams they’ll share a forbidden, May to December romance.
Now, dawn is breaking and they’ve decided to tell the world of their affair.
But as paparazzi hound Sophia’s every move, Marc steps up his control – dominating Sophia in every way possible, and drawing her into his dark world of intensity and passion.
Soon, Sophia is led into Marc’s troubled past, and shown the shadowy secrets that torment him.
However, Marc’s desire to discipline Sophia awakens her deepest fears, and she realises it’s time to disobey.
I enjoyed reading this book. The characters are great and the story was good.
I absolutely love Marc Blackwell. I love how much he cares for Sofia and how he does everything he can to protect her. He didn’t listen to her views though and made decisions for her which was what pushed Sofia to disobey him. It’s what they needed for their relationship to get on the right track.
I love Sofia and how she stuck up for herself. It was hard when they separated, but she was right that she needed to make her own choices, mistakes or otherwise. I like how Marc still gave her guidance and lessons, even when they weren’t together. He still protected her. He still protected her from the paparazzi the best that he could. Sofia ultimately proved him wrong and he knew it.
It was so good seeing them get back together. They never stopped loving one another and they needed the break for it to ultimately work out for the best.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it.

The Ivy Lessons (Ivy Lessons Series Book 1) by SK Quinn
This is the first book in the Ivy Lessons series.
When I won a student place at Ivy College, I couldn’t believe my luck. One of the most famous drama schools in London, Ivy College is a beautiful castle-like building set in roaming green grounds. I’ve been given a full-scholarship – enough for my college fees, full-board, plus a whole new wardrobe. But there’s a problem. Ivy College is owned by famous, British actor, Marc Blackwell. Impossibly handsome and indie-star sexy, Marc teaches us once a week. Known for his strict classes and belief in discipline, Marc has a reputation for being arrogant and aloof. Yet despite his cool reputation, sparks fly when our eyes meet. Marc is cold. But he is also fascinating. His eyes go deep into my soul and I can’t look away. Sometimes, our hands touch. and I don’t pull back. And Marc’s strict discipline sends shivers down my spine. I want more, but this May to December romance is totally forbidden. A student cannot fall in love with her teacher …
I loved reading this book. The characters were fantastic and the storyline was great. I’m a fan of forbidden teacher/student relationship books and this one definitely didn’t let me down.
Oh my God, Marc Blackwell was the best. He’s such a dark, broody character and I loved him. I enjoyed watching him grow close to Sofia and I loved how he always had her best intentions at heart. Sofia is a great character as well.
I loved watching them grow closer. Marc knows that it’s wrong and he tries to fight it. Sofia is adamant though. Neither of them want to fight the spark between them. I loved the scenes between them as well. Marc’s such an alpha male and I loved it.
The storyline was good. I’d like to learn more about Marc and what’s made him so dark and craving control. We’ve only seen rough glimpses really regarding his father and upbringing. I like how Marc wants to protect Sofia from everything, especially the press. Ultimately, she needs to decide at the end regarding taking things further with him.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. Marc and Sofia were great characters and the storyline was good. I would definitely recommend this book.

Dirty Together (The Dirty Billionaire Trilogy Book 3) by Meghan March
This is the third and final book in the Dirty Billionaire Trilogy.
My wife. I love saying those words. She’s mine, and if she thinks I’m going to let her run without tracking her down and bringing her back to where she belongs—with me—then she’s about to be introduced to a new reality. Because I’ll fight dirty to give her the happily ever after she deserves.
I enjoyed reading this book. It was a good which read with great characters and a good storyline.
I love Creighton. He is such a likable man. He would literally do anything for Holly. He might have a big ego and be a typical rich guy, but his love for his wife was endearing. He gave her the freedom to follow her dreams her way. Holly was strong willed and feisty, but it took her too long to trust Creighton.
I loved how their relationship grew from something impulsive to something real. Watching them fall in love was great. They had a clear spark from the start and it was good to see them finally open up and communicate in this book. They started tackling everything together.
Overall, this was an enjoyable series and I would definitely recommend it.

Dirty Pleasures (The Dirty Billionaire Trilogy Book 2) by Meghan March
This is the second book in the Dirty Billionaire Trilogy.
I did it. I married a billionaire. My reasons are my own, but the last thing I expected was to feel owned. I may have taken vows, but I’m still determined to be me. Now his rules are taking over my world, but I’m not the kind of girl to just obey. There’s only one problem: I might actually be falling for him…I have no idea how this marriage is going to go, but holding onto a piece of myself while succumbing to his dirty pleasures is shaping up to be the ride of a lifetime.
I enjoyed this book. It was a quick, easy read with great characters and a good story.
Creighton is a great character. He might be bossy and a little arrogant, but he’s also incredibly thoughtful and possessive. It’s quite endearing. He goes out of his way to give Holly what she needs and he’s not actually getting the appreciation he deserves. Holly is great because she’s strong and feisty, but her trust issues are clouding her. She thinks she isn’t good enough and it convinced that it isn’t real. It’s a typical case of not communicating.
Both of them need to be honest with each other, and then they might get somewhere. Their relationship is developing well, and then they hit bumps because of not being honest. If she knew what he’s done for her, she might not be so closed towards him. Her actions at the end definitely were too impulsive and didn’t give him a chance. She just needs to talk to him and vice versa.
The storyline is good and I’m looking forward to seeing how it develops in the last book. The characters are great and I would definitely recommend this book.

Dirty Billionaire (The Dirty Billionaire Trilogy Book 1)by Meghan March
This is the first book in the Dirty Billionaire Trilogy.
I’ve got a big… ego and an even bigger bank account. That’s pretty much where my bio ends. Honestly, I don’t need to say anything else. I’ve just sold 99% of women on going home with me. Do I sound like a jerk to you? That’s because I am. And guess what? It works for me just fine. Or at least it did. Until I met her. Books talk about sparks flying. Screw that. With her, it was like emergency flares mixed with jet fuel. Or maybe just straight up napalm. Only one problem. She wouldn’t tell me her name or her number when she disappeared from the hotel room after the hottest night of my life. Now I’ve had a taste of the perfect woman and I need it again. So what’s a jerk to do? I took this problem to the street. A missed connection gone viral. And when I find her? I’m keeping her.
I enjoyed reading this book. The characters were good and the story was good. It was a good quick read.
Holly is a great character. She’s strong and feisty and can stick up for herself. One night of fun has her backed into a corner, and you can’t blame her for meeting back up with Creighton and his crazy plan.
Creighton is a good character. He’s a typical arrogant billionaire, and he really did act on impulse with Holly. It was great seeing them slowly get to know each other, and seeing him slowly drop a few of those iron walls.
The story was good. Holly stocks by herself and tells him that she isn’t letting career and dreams go. He asks her for her trust to deal with everything and she gives it to him. There’s a clear spark between then and they melt perfectly together in the bedroom.
I’m intrigued by the ending because I didn’t peg him for not sticking by his word. I’m wondering whether there is a reason why he wasn’t there. I think Holly did the right think, but I’m hoping that he will chase her. I’m looking forward to reading the next book.
Overall, this was a quick, enjoyable read and I would definitely recommend it. I think it just missed that extra spark that I sometimes get with books. It was still a good book though.
