And here's a photo of Hobgoblin asleep. White kittens always look weird and lashless when you first get them unless they're particularly fluffy but Hobsy is already filling out and I washed his face for him yesterday. Him and Mack (who is a boy!) have both made themselves completely at home though Hobs is a chatty one and even as I write this I can hear his strange peacock cry as he explores the house. Say hi to one of our two foster kittens! This very shy one is Mack (short for Mackerel tabby which is what he/she is and also in moments: Machiavelli) Haven't been able to gender him or her because s/he's super shy and I think still a little skittish around humans. Here's Mack in the sink where we placed him/her. Our three are sulking at this kitten invasion and refuse to come down from the terrace while the second kitten Hobgoblin (gorgeous little Siamese lookalike) is just a blur so cannot photograph him. Many moons ago, I interviewed Candace Bushnell in Jaipur and was SHOCKED, SHOCKED, that she was wearing sneakers with her dress. How not Carrie, I thought to myself. However Candace/Carrie was way ahead of the trend and here we are in 2017 wearing sneakers with everything and can I just say it is SUCH a relief that fashion has decided women can be comfortable now? Not that I ever dressed uncomfortably but it's nice to be both stylish and not be dying to take off your shoes, you know? So here are my new summer kicks: canvas slip ons and "millennial pink" sneakers, both cheap as anything and also a delight. Spent the night at my mother's and we went down to the local Buddh Bazaar, where, no kidding, you get really nice hipster junk jewellery. I'm surprised there's even an consumer base besides me for turquoise cat with pearl collar earrings but hey, I'm glad they're there. Also bought some super organic cotton t-shirts and a gorgeous romper. #streetshopping #patpargunj

Out for the day, sitting at a cafe called Typsy Crow, trying to edit a column, but first some reading time. I'm a bit late to the All That Man Is party but not enjoying it any less for all that.
