Breaking (the) News: How Does the Media Know How to Push Our Buttons?

If you have visited this website before, or you know a bit about the Class Heroes books, you’ll know that the series has a number of interactive ‘extras’. I liken them to the bonus material and ‘easter eggs’ you get on DVDs. In particular, there is the 24/7 Interactive News channel – a fictional news station that often appears in the novels.

That title sounds like it could be the title of a new Class Heroes book (or perhaps a 90s German rock group?). It isn’t. Could be – but isn’t. I’m actually referring to the so-called Super Storm that we’ve just had in the UK.
