Are you an Amazon Prime member? Then Get a Free Book!
If you have signed up to be an Amazon Prime member (you might have done it when you made a purchase and you were seduced by the free delivery option), then you are entitled to borrow a book each month.
Yep, that's right, borrow. Kindle has a lending library. Each month you can borrow one book. It downloads to your Kindle and you've got the month to read it. Nice way to discover new books.

Analysing the Results of a KDP Select Free-Book Promotion
I ran a KDP Select two-day free-book promotion, on Feb 5 - Feb 6 2013, for my superhero novels.
As Class Heroes fans know, there are now two books in the series. Book 1, A Class Apart was released in October 2011. Book 2 What Happened in Witches Wood was released at the beginning of February 2013. I ran the promotion for both books.

Easter Eggs and Adding Value to eBooks
As you may or may not know, I love adding interactive elements to the Class Heroes books. In the age of the eBook, I think authors are missing a trick if they don't give readers more than just the words on the page.
I like to think that my series of superhero novels are very modern books in every sense. They feature two regular, down-to-earth teenagers, and the setting for the books reflects the concerns, aspirations and troubles that we have in the world today.
Superhero Novel Returns
Thanks very much to Eric Searleman for putting another post on his excellent Superhero Novels website mentioning What Happened in Witches Wood. Eric very kindly mentioned the release of Class Heroes II at the beginning of February.

Blue Box Boy by Matthew Waterhouse
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This is a very different sort of autobiography, and you realise that from the very beginning.

The Pharmaceutical giant G-Netik is offering You the chance to earn up to FIVE THOUSAND POUNDS! What do you need to do? SIgn a piece of paper!
Well, that and agree to undergo a series of tests at their main research and devlopment site in Suffolk, England.
For less than two month's or intensive trials, including blood tests, MRI scans, gene and DNA examination, you could earn something akin to a footballer's hourly wage.

Ghosts Sightings in Witches Wood: Real or Fake?
Witches Wood – the infamously haunted woodland in Suffolk, UK – has made the news again!
I found this short excerpt from the 24/7 News channel, where Professor of Parapyschology, David McNulty, discusses why so many people claim to have seen ghosts in the wood. And once again it's the ghost of Katie Blake.
It can't be true though can it? Ghosts? Naaaaahhh.
I'll see if I can find the full report and I'll link to it when I do.

Is that what you asked? Well, I've done it anyway. It's free on Amazon until Friday 21 December.
Enjoy.
And Merry Christmas!
