Thank you, Authorlink
One of the reasons I like interviews is I'm often asked questions I've not yet heard. In case you're interested, here's a fine interview by Anna Roins for Authorlink.

Five Fascinating Lost Treasures of the World
What are your favorite vanished treasures? Maybe yours are among the five I picked - check out the article below and enter to win a free copy of The Assassins from my publisher. As for me, I'm fascinated and keep writing about them. In The Book of Spies, it's Ivan the Terrible's lost Library of Gold. In The Assassins, it's Saddam Hussein's missing billion-dollar fortune. Happy hunting!

We're Invading Russia!
Are you addicted to Game of Thrones? John and I like to watch the episodes one night after the other, so we wait for them to be available on Netflix. No, don't you dare tell me what happens in the series this year! At the same time, I'm working on my next thriller, a large part of which takes place in Moscow. That's how I learned that Russians are naming their children for Game of Thrones characters! We're invading! http://www.themoscowtimes.com/news/ar...

Thank you, Indepenent Bookstores!
Aren't we lucky to be able to read? Books nurture and entertain us, and educate us -- which is why Hitler and other tyrants really like to burn books. Fortunately the reverse is true in Istanbul, where a new independent
bookstore is building bridges across refugee and resident communities in languages from Arabic to English and French. Let's hear it for bookstores!

h a doozy -- starting a new line of books for them. He hopes “... every kid who finishes a jimmy patterson book will say, ‘Please give me another book.’ What could be better than that? ‘Please give me another book.’ ” Amen.

It's a Stephen King Mystery!
Don't you think Stephen King is a remarkable author? I can't read horror because it scares me too much (despite the unfortunate deaths that occur in my own novels, which I consider - alas - necessary). But I've always admired him from afar, and now that I'm living in Maine, I can admire him from even closer. He's published some 60 books, won awards, and is known as a generally all-around great guy. And now, we know there are 7 of his works that few will ever get to read. It's a mystery I thought you might enjoy....
