What books do I want to read?

The first, easiest thing that comes to mind is Christmas: we all get pajamas on christmas eve—they were usually clearance PJs from Ross—and watch a movie. What do I enjoy doing most in my leisure time?

I’d have to say…watching TV. Good LORD do I love watching TV. Always have. Always will. What I watch definitely depends. My absolute top favorite? Probably live sports. Loooooove watching live sports, followed quickly in second place by recorded sports that I don’t already know the outcome of. And then I love both narrative TV & Film, and documentary.

One of my favorite things: Robyn’s “Dancing on my own.” Song slaps. Liz was watching music videos and an Ariana Grande one came up that was totally inspired by dancing on my own. It was also good.

Joy news update: she got groomed today so she is EXTRA cute…and exactly as we were praising her for being such a sweet pup (she went and told Liz in her office that it was time to close up shop and go to bed)…she ate some random piece of trash off the floor. I’m Leaving Social Media (mostly)

It’s time for me to step away, at least for the most part.

Day 4,105: Good to Mama

Joy can’t settle. She’s walking all over the bed looking for the perfect spot. Okay, just as I typed that, she finally laid down between my legs, lol.

She has a routine every night of getting her treats while I floss and brush my teeth. Y’all…getting up when it’s dark outside is…it’s just not okay. It feels WRONG.

Which is why I didn’t do it this morning, lol. Sigh. I need to. Really, really, really. That’s my chance to get on top of it all. Start my day out right. I can do it. I really can.

What is my dream job?

To write full time. That is to say, I’d be making enough from my writing to quit any other kind of work.

That’s not easy to do. Very few make enough from their writing, books or otherwise, to not have another job. Most of us do both. And to be honest…that’s my next-top dream job.
