Day 2,760: I Came To Work
There is something very satisfying about getting shit done.
In the wise words of Shangela: I am a professional. I came to work.
Well…it’s really “werk”…but in this case, literally, it was work this week. But I got my shit done! On time! And in decent quality, too, I hope. We’ll see how the assets do, but I think we did well.
And I also feel like I got hit by a truck. I am dead tired. Good lord. Wiped the fuck out. I worked almost 60 hours this week. Well…closer to 55, but still! I worke...

Making this one suuuuper short…but twas a highly productive day. A 16 hour work day

It’s so late!
I had the badass work day I needed. Didn’t get EVERYTHING done I wanted to, but I’ve definitely found a rhythm with the shows I working on, and I know I can ride that tomorrow, too, to the finish line. Or, at least close enough.
Now, it’s midnight and time for bed.

Day 2,757: Catching Up
Slowly but surely…catching up.
Had a solid writing session today. Unfortunately, tomorrow I have to skip it. I just have too much work-work to do. Need to absolutely rock my Netflix tomorrow because I have to get these clip pulls done in enough time to allow for feedback and adjustments, and still deliver on Friday.

Day 2,756: Too Much
I have too much to do. Too much on my plate right now…so…we’re in triage-mode. I do whatever most-pressingly needs to be done, and the rest just has to wait. Not my favorite way to do things, but here we are.
And here’s the thing: I will have time to do everything. Eventually. The things that can wait truly can wait. I can take it all one step at a time until I finally clear a couple things from my plate.

Day 2,755: This Body
It’s LATE for a Sunday night. I had stuff to finish up. Oh, boy am I tired. All I wanted to do was go to sleep…but I got my shit done.
Gonna have to sleep in tomorrow, but that’s okay. I’ll still get my pages done, somehow. And clean the house. Somehow. And work. Just one step at a time.
It was a solid weekend. I was hoping to be more productive, but I was just tired and needed rest, and that was okay. I needed rest. More of it, actually, than I got, but that’s also okay. I got enough.

Day 2,754: Huddled
Tommen, the dog we’re sitting over the weekend and coming week, it huddled up against me so hard right now.
Just spent some time reading over my pages from this past week, making little tweaks here and there for clarity before I send them to my co-writer tomorrow. Didn’t get as much outlining done as I wanted to this past week, but I did get the new words/pages done right on schedule. Felt good.

What a long ass week. A *great* week. A turning point.
I had SO MUCH life shit going on this week, and yet I got my ass up and hit all my writing goals. And all my Netflix work. And all of the other shit, too. Plus podcasting tonight.
I am exhausted…but not burned out.

Day 2,752: Dog Tired
We’re watching Tommen Barkrathian, First of his Name tonight.
We’ve watched him many times before…but it’s been a while! It’s only when our friends Stephen and Thida go out of town somewhere they can’t take him, and obviously that didn’t really happen during the last year of quarantine. Day 2,751: Close
Close to finishing this work project. Frustrated that I’m not there yet, and while yes, I did juuuuust say I’m close…there’s still quite a bit of work to do. Blerg. I won’t finish late. But I wanted to finish early.
