Day 2,732: The Weirdest Week

Everything was weird and mixed up this week. So discombobulated. Totally out of routine. BUT…

Such good stuff done this week. For real.

I am vaccinated. We took a huge step forward in the project we’re working on. Made a ton of decisions on it. Stayed on top of work and the podcast. Writing suffered a bit, for sure, but I’m still in good shape there. It was…a week.

Day 2,731: On the mend!

I don’t even know why I’m on Facebook, you guys. It’s such a cesspool of ignorance. The only reason I’ve kept my account is for a couple groups that I’m a part of…but I’m not even using those groups right now. One is a writer’s group, but I don’t have any new books out at the moment, so I don’t really get the use from that I used to, and the other is a modeling group, but I’m not working on models at the moment…

Day 2,730: Jab 2

Feeling under the weather, but I have reason to believe it will only be temporary!

I rocked today. Thank you lawd. I got pretty much everything I need to get done, done. And now that I’m not feeling 100%, I can coast tomorrow, and Friday if need be. Whew.

Also made big strides today with our project, the one Liz and I have been working on. That’s…really exciting. I’m looking forward to sharing it when we’re done. Still going to be a little while, but our work is paying off.

Day 2,729: Coco Snugs

Y’all…I love my dogs.

Coco went on an adventure with me today. It involved riding with me in the car, and she loves the car. Cooper hates it. Coco loves it. She’s so bouncy trouncey when we go on adventures together, so fancy free. Truly makes running errands (which is what we were doing, truthfully) so much more enjoyable. It’s the same when Liz and I get to run errands together. So much better.

Work today was…fine. It was not a super consistent day for me. Not super productive. I did get...

Making a very quick entry here because it’s so late…but had a very nice podcasting sesh. A very busy day with work and the big project…now, it’s time for sleep. Night night

Day 2,727: Leadership

Doing a lot of reading in the past couple days about leadership. Crash course as part of research for a character I’m working on in my new book. He’s a good leader. Great, even. The kind you would die for. That’s what the story calls for, and I want to make sure I execute.

Spent the day with Liz today, and it was soooooo niiiiicceeeee. We worked on our big project together. Got some great stuff done. Important stuff. Straightened some stuff out, laid it out visually, and it was SO MUCH easier...

Day 2,726: Onto Some Bullets

I went on a bike ride today. First ride in several months, and I loved it. Must say that I’m pretty bushwhacked because of it, but I also love that.

Got to hang out with Liz in the evening. We’ve both been so busy lately that just hanging out together has been scarce. That was nice. Took the day off, mostly. That was nice, too.

Pups are asleep. Liz is out doing Yoga. Me…falling asleep.

Night night.

Day 2,725: What if god was one of us?

Night time, sleepy time.

Long day. Great day. Writing was grand. Got all my work done. Podcasted…and even got home pretty much on time! Really helps when the movie isn’t 3 goddamn hours

Day 2,724: Rocket Science

Sitting here tonight mentally exhausted from freaking out over whether or not what I’m coming up with for my next book is good enough. I mean…not really I’m mostly tired just from a long week…but angst over the writing is ABSOLUTELY part of it. And, I have to remind myself that it’s not rocket science. It truly isn’t. It’s just a story, and it doesn’t have to be perfect! That is literally juuuuust anxiety. I just need to stick with it, and put in the work.

Day 2,723: Runnin HOT

Looooooong day.

I know I’ll get used to this “new” schedule of getting up so early, getting my writing done all at once at the beginning of the day, and then working the rest of the day, but damn. It is exhausting. And, you know what? Maybe it’ll turn out NOT to be the best way to do it, but whatevs. I’m getting so much stuff done right now, it feels like it’s working. I’ll stick with it long enough to find out if it’s THE schedule or not.
