Day 2,793: Tuckered
Tuckered out after a busy week!
It should have been a chill week. But, I’m so far behind on so much life stuff, it was not a chill week…which I suppose suits me just fine. I like being busy, and I really like catching up.

Day 2,794: zonked
Yooooooo.
I was zonked today. No idea why. I guess I’ve been using my brain parts pretty intensely lately for work. I think it may have caught up to me today. I just woke up so tired. But! I still got all my stuff done. Ran errands. Went to a very cool, sweet work shindig. The shindig was the cool part. The sweet part was just seeing everyone again for the first time in so long. It was really great.
Now…sleep. Hoping I feel refreshed to go hard tomorrow

Yooooooo.

Day 2,793: Client Work
Busy busy busy.
It’s bed time again, and here I am just sitting down, finally, to write this entry.
The book is going well. I’m past halfway, now. Still in the meat of Act 2, but things are just about to really get crazy, which is fun. I have a vision of this story. The book is following that vision. It’s very, very satisfying. And my cowriter seems to be onboard with it, too, thank the stars. I really hope it turns out well. I think there’s a good chance it will.

Late!
Great day. Writing was solid. Got great feedback from my co-writer. Podcasting was EXCELLENT tonight. We watched a film that genuinely blew both of us away. Totally unexpected. First time I think it’s happened for both Josh and I at the same time. THAT is what the list is supposed to be about, you know?

Day 2,791: Twelve Pages
I…think I wrote 12 pages today? Something like that.
The fact that I don’t for exact how many it was is actually quite the amazing thing. On the one hand, every single one of those pages I wrote today was hard-won. I had to grind out each and every one of them. I wasn’t exactly in the flow today, probably because I’m just getting back to it after work and life keeping me away for about a week…

Day 2,790: Kewee
Came up with a fun new world-building concept for my current book. It’s fun. Makes the way they communicate feel familiar, but also scifi. Love finding stuff like that as I go. The plot will present something that needs an answer, and I get to make up that answer!
Still…feeling pretty burned out from last week. But, also weirdly ready for the week. Ready to get some shit done I couldn’t get done last week because it was so busy.
