Day 2,912: Training
Coco is cleaning me. Apparently, my arm is dirty, and it needs a good bath. She just happens to be an expert in such affairs. Lucky for me, she’s here.
She’s doing well! She continues to act like normal. No pain episodes at all, no wincing or crying. She’s herself. Took on a little walk down the block tonight, and she loved it. Day 2,911: This Looks Like A Job For Coops
Coco is back up on the bed. Hallelu
We worked out a leash up below the headboard so she can’t go running or jumping off the bed, which is what hurt her back in the first place. She has to wear a harness while she sleeps, but she can be back up here in between our pillows like she likes to be.
I am warm af right now. I just did my pushups and sit-ups, but I was warm even before that.
Good day today. Got a lot done. Got up on time, even. Need to do the same tomorrow.

Day 2,910: Weevils
Feeling FRESH.
Took a shower. In bed on time. Didn’t have the most productive day today, but I can rock it tomorrow, which is why I’m here right now on time.
Life is busy, yo. So much shit to do. But, I can do it.

Day 2,909: Quick
Stayed up a little late watching a couple episodes of Squid Game. It’s still SO GOOD…but they added some characters for this latest episode that were sooooooo lame. They’re minor. It’s not a big deal, honestly. The first discordant note in an otherwise pretty perfect show.
Coco is looking very, very cute right now down in her kennel on the floor. Very floofy. Making sure we’re done giving out treats. And then she’ll turn into the back of the crate and snooze.

Day 2,908: Oh Wow Coco
Coco continues to improve. Or, I guess not “improve” so much as she’s still doing fine. Acting pretty normal. I can still see that she hunches her back, which means its sore, but she hasn’t re-injured it. Thank lord. We’ve kept her from that.
It was an early visit to the vet this morning. Both Coops and Coco were due for their bordatella (sp?) vaccines, and we told the doc about her back stuff so that he’s aware of what’s going on. He’s her primary care doctor, so that was good.

Late. But not TOO late. Podcasted with J.
We watched Scorsese’s Raging Bull, which was a good one! Sparked a really great discussion between us.
Now home. In my bed. Feeling very comfy and tired and satisfied. Need to get some good sleep. Pups are both down for the night.

Day 2,906: Restocked
Just restocked myself with some artwork for ye old blog entries.
I like to browse for them in chunks, I guess. I have SO MANY photos, you guys. Between running the Two Guys One Trek instagram for several years and posting daily there to getting a photo every night for this here blog…a lot of photos saved to my iCould account that aren’t photos I actually took myself.
I love it, though.

Ooof. Busy day. Going to be a busy one tomorrow, too. Coco goes to see the neurologist in the morning. I have quite a bit of Netflix work and TWO clients tomorrow, which I’m totally excited about.

Day 2,904: Sassy
Coco be getting SASSY.
She’s getting her strength back, and she does NOT like to be contained. As chill of a dog as she is, she definitely has her routine she likes, and we’ve not been able to do it lately. Crazy girl.
She’s still improving. Steadily. Feeling good. Better. She seems normal, actually, but I know from the doc recommendations and just reading on my own that she needs rest, still. For a while. So, we keep her crated as much as possible. Especially with house guests. Joe, Madhu...

Day 2,903: Just Right
Cooper found just the right spot to lay down on the bed.
Coco is feeling better. She saw an acupuncture vet today, and got the okay to be able to walk around the house. But, still no running, jumping, stairs, or play time. I feel like that we can do. And she’ll still get crate time a lot, too.
I’m so relieved. She’s no longer in so much pain. I think she’s going to be okay. In three weeks…all goes well, she should be back to normal.
Work was disjointed today, but I did it. I haven’t had...
