Some projects are harder to work on during writer's blocks so I give those the time they need and come back to it when I'm ready to add something good to the story.
I do a lot of poetry writing especially when I'm stuck at some point in my book. It just gives me a refreshing change and it's my best form of expression.(less)

I'm a scientist by profession and I work on cancer research so I'm trained to do that.
But, writing is something that flows out very naturally for me. More often than not, I'll sit on my typewriter or computer without a preconceived idea of how to write a scene, for instance, and then I'll just find myself having written a chapter in one go. I surprise myself when I write and it is exhilarating.(less)
