It's a common and unavoidable thing to have a writer's block, so I find that working on multiple projects simultaneously keeps things moving well without having to lose time on progression of a story.
Some projects are harder to work on during writer's blocks so I give those the time they need and come back to it when I'm ready to add something good to the story.
I do a lot of poetry writing especially when I'm stuck at some point in my book. It just gives me a refreshing change and it's my best form of expression.

I call myself a natural purely because I haven't studied literature. I'm a scientist by profession and I work on cancer research so I'm trained to do that.
But, writing is something that flows out very naturally for me. More often than not, I'll sit on my typewriter or computer without a preconceived idea of how to write a scene, for instance, and then I'll just find myself having written a chapter in one go. I surprise myself when I write and it is exhilarating.

I am working on several things at the moment. It's a great mix of different writing styles that I'm excited to work on.
I do a lot of poetry so I'm pretty psyched about the book that's going to showcase that.
I am working on a couple of novels that I'm quite absorbed in. I want to try writing different things including short stories, novels, poems and illustrated books. So these are all projects that are on-going.

I am always inspired to write. That's a surprising realization for me, because it's difficult to stay inspired consistently. But truth is, the more I learn through my experiences in life, the better I get as a writer. So, it's a constant evolution.
For me, words are one of the most powerful tools we have. And, the way we use them can dictate what we want to leave behind, like the effect we leave on people we interact with or the words we choose as our expressions.
There is so much I want to bring to the world as a writer so the endless possibilities of it is one thing that keeps my zeal for writing going.

My most recent book is entitled Snippets which is a collection of short stories. I'm always fascinated by the intricacies of relationships especially since every relationship is so unique. The idea behind anything I write is to bring to light certain aspects of one's emotional journey that remains unspoken or sometimes even misunderstood. There is so much beauty in the world and much of it we as people are capable of bringing into the world so I have highlighted these aspects of life in my first book.
