This summer I've found it difficult to get into reading. I've failed to finish a number of books - no fault of the authors themselves - I've found it hard to settle on anything. But a couple of books which had me hooked to the very last page are Three Hours b Read more of this blog post »

A soft gray dressing gown, a matching towel, and bubble bath promising the healing properties of sea kelp. Charlie knew there wasn't a big enough bottle enough to heal her wounds, but she was willing to begin the process. Penderrion was getting to her if she thought that anything with "sea" in the title could be soothing instead of threatening.”

“Penny ordered drinks - a large latte with a shot of caramel syrup for Decca and a green tea for herself. Charlie thought what people drank told you as much about them as any number of psychological tests. Decca's coffee was decadent, comforting, and perhaps a little bit naughty, just like she was. Penny's tea was an acquired taste. It screamed out worthiness. Hard work but probably worth it in the end.”
