Yes I Can Speak to Fairies…even if I don’t look like Steevie Nicks!
This at first seems quite a comical sentence to say. There are even sayings that are not complimentary talking about fairies in the common language such as “she’s off with the fairies” and “airy fairy” describing a person who’s somewhat week-willed, vague and spacey. While I have met the odd person like that, I think I come across somewhere on the normal spectrum of human encounters. To look at me I don’t’ even dress in the witchy Steevie Nicks style of voluminous fairy outfits (which doesn’t’ help my cause either he he!). So I look normal but don’t go about things in the normal way, I tend to do things first in a spiritual way before a physical way. I pray , meditate, send situations and people love and light and angels as a first point of call before I assess what needs to be done on a physical level. By then the situation has also shifted somewhat because of the extra good energy that has been sent their way.
People in general do not know of that many people who can speak to fairies. Most of the fairy literature is reserved for fictional fairy stories and fantasy novels, which while entertaining do not help my cause either. Even searching in a book website you have to do a concerted search in the new age books to make sure you don’t come up with a slew of fictitious tomes with frightening dark covers, with a tenuous relationships with reality.
Its not something you say at dinner parties either. It is such an off-the-wall thing to say I don’t even mention it, unless I am in enlightened company. I don’t live in a particularly enlightened area either, conservative farming country here, where the word ‘organic’ is a dirty words and ‘greenies’ let alone the words ‘new age’! I suppose I am a greeny since I love all the nature on God’s earth, that must make me a greeny! I never pollute my garden or farm with chemical fertilizers of pesticides, I run an organic household and an organic large garden. I reuse, recycle, grow my own organic fruit and veg, and I talk to all the garden plants as I am working with them.
I comes in very handy in finding out what is exactly going on in my garden; who ate a particular plant, what sorts of birds are in that tree and why they are frequenting it. You are never alone with a conscious garden that welcome’s you as you walk amongst it, like a big warm hug. It gives you much and always seeks to please, even in the smallest way. I highly recommend talking to your greenery, you never know what it might say! Become a friend with your garden and it will befriend you!
