The Fairies Unfurl Their Flower’s Petals Differently According To Their Plant’s Needs

Six On Saturday – 1🌸6🌸24 Propagation Frenzy

Hello lovelies. This week I have been very busily making cuttings of all the plants I want to reproduce to fill out my garden beds. In have gone cuttings of several different Lavenders, Daisies and Felicia plants to mention a few. Winter is prime plant production time for me and I have been happily beavering away!

It is also prime rose production time, so I have been taking cuttings of the roses I want more of. A rather optimistic act, I tend to be successful with only the hardest varietes. Probably because of our relatively dry climate. Still one must remain optimistic! I have quite a large country garden with lots of beds to fill. So giddy up roses!

I have also been dividing up favourite perennials enmasse. One day I propagate cand and distribute my Plum Verbena around the garden. The next day it was my Diascia plants. A few lays ago it was the turn of the Lambs Ear which I am using as a garden edging to a new bed. I often use grey leaved perennials to define and decorate the garden bed edges.

I have been quite impressed by the Heidesommer rose in my garden. She is a bit of a bloom machine and is quite fragrant. She grows a bit like a groundcover rose. The blooms have a bit of a sculptural quality.One of our ponies in the evening sun. I use their manure on the garden and they decorate our field with their beauty. They interact with us in the garden as the pony paddock wraps around the garden. If one of my children make a large yelling sound from the house the ponies sometimes answer them back with a neigh! Playboy and Heidesommer rose and a peach tree’s autumn foliage.I went to a specialist rose nursery called Ross Roses this week, a belated Birthday treat from my husband. It is the beachside country town of Willunga. It specializes in heritage roses. I brought back these beauties. Most of them are old roses, some I am replacing from a previous garden. Baronne Prevoust a Hybrid Perptual, Carabella crazy single Vintage Australian rose and Autumnalis the white rose. I was rather intrigued by it and bought it on a whim. I think it can either be a climber or large shrub.I have a few massive plants if the Cineraria saxifraga daisy plants,the flowers attract hundreds of wasps and spotted moths.Still flowering the Salvia mexicanus,  Perennial Ageratum, Felicias and Carnations. Plus a photo of the trunk of the Eucalyptus sideroxylon, black butt tree, with it’s interesting black trunk.Interesting trunk of this Eucalyptus against the blue sky, in my garden with a neighbour’s wheat field beyond. I grew these trees from babies. They say you can see the shape of a tree fairy by looking at his tree trunk, I can definitely see the fairy shape here!

Pay Attention To What You Love Instead Of Railing Against What You Hate

Attention is energy. Where your attention flows energy goes, so its best not to send energy to a situation that you hate or you will make it grow. Instead pay attention to what you love and it will grow in size commensurately.
We are little pieces of God, we can create and un-create whatever we want. We just need to learn how.
