I've heard men should eat lots of tomato sauce (more pasta!) because cooked tomatoes are rich in lycopene, and lycopene fights prostate cancer. Is that true?

My father died of a heart attack. Now my husband has high blood pressure (145/90). I'm afraid of a repeat. He constantly "forgets" to take his pills, or lets the Rx run out, or says he's "fine." How can I get him to take his meds?
