Hello everyone.
Let me set the scene for you. It's Sunday night and I'm writing out my weekly newsletter. Spent all week on an out of town job and all day today catching up on farm work and an insane amount of mowing. What I'm saying is it's been a long week. Good, but very long. So I'm crashed on the sofa with hubby while I type away on the weekly news.
I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned it, but hubby is a wonderful sort of beast. But tonight his idea of support comes in the form of bringing me a can of hard soda. Let me rephrase.. He brought me all of my hopes and dreams squeezed like a lemon into an alcoholic drink. When preparing for a July fourth party indulged and bought a case of "hard mtn dew". If you ever meet me there will be a very good chance I will have a diet mountain dew in my hand. It's my go-to drink, my fuel, probably 2/3 of my bodily fluids at this point. The idea that they made "hard dew" was like an no-brain-er for me to buy it the second I saw it.
And regret ever since. Nope, I'm not a fan. Thanks hubby, but no thanks.
And on to the weekly news. Eagle Clan 2: Destiny just released. Yay! and I'm doing final edits on Eagle Clan 3: The Longest Journey. For me, it's a real tear-jerker. All kinds of dark, painful history for some of my favorite characters. After I finish up that I'll move on to getting the three Eagle Clan books out in print as well.
whispers: There's a surprise note coming on Tuesday. Keep an eye out. It's a biggie with lots of freebies. (wink)

Hello everyone.
It's been pretty warm around here in Western PA but I know there are plenty of places that have it even hotter. So for today how about I just turn up the book heat?
I do have a new release this week. So if you have time check out the second Eagle Clan book: Destiny. The third installment will be coming out on August 16th. And then three more next year.
For the heat... I like to think I have a few that are more than a tad bit spicy. The ones that I'd probably call to the head of that class would be Chance and the Anom'tan stories. And surprise! Hello everyone.
Just made it through the Independence Day holiday. Spent a little time with an impromptu cookout on the fourth. Sadly it started raining before any of the country fireworks went off. Still a nice little get together.
What's that? You've never heard of country fireworks! Well around here lots of families have smaller at home celebrations and set off their own fireworks. We're blessed enough to have some ambitious neighbors who are near enough to be visible from my back deck. Between them and the small town a few hills over firework season can light up the sky over my little farm.
Not much new on the writing front. I'm putting Destiny through another last minute edit. It will be available in eBook on July 16th. And book three, The Longest Journey will be out August 16th. The print versions of the three Eagle Clan books will be released a little later in the year. I might end up doing that artwork myself. Wish me luck.
I mentioned last week that I'm considering changing the day of the week that I send out news. I still haven't decided for sure. There is a survey later in this post. Please share your thoughts.
Now it's time I get back to work.

Hello everyone. It's officially the second half of the year and I'm already thinking about Christmas... LOL Kidding. This year I'm sure I won't go overboard and spoil my family too much. (That's a lie. I already have a couple totes of hidden gifts.)
Not much new with the farm. Couple naughty predators had to be removed. My Jungle Fowl breeding program took a hit. But I was able to save a bunch of eggs so hopefully I'll have more than one lonely rooster in three weeks.
I'm in final edits of the second Eagle Clan novel, Destiny. More on that next time.
Speaking of next time, I'm thinking of moving weekly news to later in the week. I'll be posting again on Wednesday or Thursday. I'm hoping I can figure out how to run a survey on this platform. Wish me luck.

Hello everyone.
It may be the last week of pride month, but my boy love stories will continue all year long. :) I recently had someone tell me how much they love my werewolf stories. In the same breath they said they didn't like my "gay" books." I think a lot of things in response but most of them boil down to one concept. That choice is perfectly okay.
Variety is the spice of life or so I've heard. When it comes to reading I feel strongly about all styles and topics being welcome. The choice of what we fill our dreams with shouldn't be dictated by any other. (In the grander scheme of things I do add the addendum that everything should be allowed that doesn't hurt any other.) But inside the pages of a book, should exist every type of genre, character, and story. Where else should we learn about people and situations that don't exist in our everyday lives?
This episode of the Beyond will be a little short with some overlap from last week. The mister and I took a week long vacation to celebrate 25 years of marriage and today is our first day back at "work". Today's goals include work on the next wolfie book, the usual farm chores... and 8 hours at the day job.

My werewolf stories tend to be action based male/female committed love stories. They will often involve strong family bonds and show characters overcoming painful pasts in order to find love.
Vampires and Demons
My demon and vampire stories tend to be spicy and sexy, full of passion and danger. These could be male/female, male/male, or and variety of pairings that the characters enjoy.
Sweet Paranormal
Yes, I do write some sweet stories too. These are often short stories and can showcase a more innocent kind of romance that will usually still result in a sweeter kind of passion.
