Just to wish someone a good day is to put the thought in their mind that they will have one. To give advice to someone is to put pressure, however slight, upon them to change. We can do everything accurately, the right incense, the correct time of the month, and correctly colored candles, and still get no desired result at all. Let’s try to explain what happened and why despite all our effort, we didn’t achieve the positive result.
One point of view is that the gods are watching over us and have certain things planned. For example, an abandoned lover may do all in her power to bring her mate back without success. The reason is that the gods know he’s no-good for her at all, and she’s far better off without him! Not only that, they have a fantastic, ideal mate for her waiting, if she will only be patient until the time is right.
The time that it takes for Magic to work can have a bearing on our belief as to whether or not it worked at all. Sometimes the results are a long time in coming. There are many of us — myself included — who have found just such a scenario, but only recognized it in retrospect. At the time we think, “Why me?” or, “Why not me?” or perhaps, “Why isn’t this working?” or, “What have I done wrong?” It’s only many weeks, months, or even years later that we can look back and say, “Oh! So that’s why it didn’t work!”
How long for candle magic to work?
Case study: How can I manage to be noticed by my dream man?
I liked James. We travel by same bus every day, but he doesn’t seem to know that I’m alive. I knew that candle magic would help me, but that wouldn’t be right since it would interfere with his free will. What should I do? I start making a list of all the qualities that I like about James. I title the final draft, as “What qualities I want my perfect mate to have.” I knew that he is a tall, blond, physically well-developed male, and that was on my list. Soon, I realized that this is not enough. I added things I imagine he has, but wasn’t sure, as I didn’t know him well at all. I added the interest in mysticism, music, hiking, sailing, clubbing, and also a great dancer.
I started to cast spells to anybody who is right for me, according to my list. Only a month later, I met Peter, who is amazing!!! He loved all above and also love the animals and was brilliant in his career. I didn’t limit my chances of success, I believed the candle spells, and I was patient enough for my real match. And the most important point – I didn’t interfere with anybody’s free will. I thanked my Goddess for her help.
