Hoppy Easter!

Low-key times here in rainy Oregon! But... a couple of pictures anyway. Hope everyone had a wonderful, overloaded with chocolate, puke-inducing weekend!

Book signing: Starring Kimberly Derting

Saturday I was lucky enough to meet up with author and friend (and fellow Tenner) Kimberly Derting!! She's promoting her new book THE BODY FINDER! Is that a hot title and cover or what?? I'm dying to dig in!



Amazing authors Lisa Schroeder and LK Madigan were also there (hi, girls!) and Kim and her adorable family even stayed a bit late to hang out.



It was a great time and I can't wait to talk more about the book. Did you get your copy yet??

The Novel Graveyard

I have a new entry from The Novel Graveyard! This one is a bit darker (okay, maybe a lot darker) than Wrong Answer (which you can read HERE). I only got about ten pages into this one, but I definitely used a few ideas from it for later stories.

I never regret my insanely overpopulated graveyard because I feel like sooner or later, the good ideas work their way into another story. This particular excerpt may not be for everyone, so sorry in advance if it's offensive or anything. :-) Anyway, her...

Book: Delinquents

Back before I started querying The Naughty List, I wrote a novel called Delinquents. I wrote it quickly, staying up all night, not going to work, skipping meals--all because it was pouring out of me. When the time came to send it out, I had both DQ and NL--and NL was the book picked up.

But now I've got the word that Delinquents will be published in the Fall of 2011 from Razorbill/Penguin. To say I'm excited is a complete understatement. Pretty much everyone that knows me has read this book be...

I'm putting up a novel graveyard post a little early this week. Hope you don't mind. I was planning on moving on to another story, but I got a fantastic email from a reader who begged for a little more of WRONG ANSWER.
