The Tomb of the Sea Witch–Now Available!

Beaumont and Beasley are officially back! You can download the ebook of The Tomb of the Sea Witch today!

Private detective Nick Beasley used to be a debunker of magic–and a human being. Then he found out magic is real. The hard way. Now he’s on the run from a powerful council of enchanters who want him dead, along with his little brother Crispin and the renegade enchantress Lady Cordelia Beaumont.

So when Cordelia suggests going undercover at a stronghold of the Council’s power–the Warrengat...

Wait, Where Did Those Two New Books Come From?

The title of this post is probably what you’re asking yourself if you’ve noticed the two additional covers that just showed up at the bottom of my home page.

Well, one of them is for Beaumont and Beasley Book 3: The Mirror of Rorrim.

Coming…soon. Probably in the autumn sometime. Not going to say too much about it right now. I’ll make a proper announcement once I’ve done some more work on it. The reason why I have the cover up now will be explained shortly.

The other cover is for The Clawthor...

An Audiobook, a Paperback, and a Giveaway!

I have two big announcements to make today, and a special giveaway to celebrate them! First of all, while the ebook of The Tomb of the Sea Witch won’t be released until Monday, the paperback is available for purchase now! (I set it up early so that I’d have physical copies in time for Realm Makers.) Also, it’s on sale! Until August 1, you can get it for $6.00 instead of the list price of $7.99.

Second, I’m very excited to announce that the highly-anticipated audiobook version of The Beast of...

The Tomb of the Sea Witch–Pre-Order Today!

Well, it took a little longer than I had intended, but Amazon pre-orders for The Tomb of the Sea Witch are now live! To celebrate, I’ve given the website a new color scheme inspired by the book’s cover. Behold, le blueness.

Also, here’s a new book trailer. I wasn’t entirely happy with the last one, so I’ve created something a little cooler. Enjoy! (Also, side-note–the music for this trailer is an original composition, the lyrics of which are in the book. The song is actually quite crucial to...

The Thirteenth Doctor: My Thoughts

She’s a comin’. Jodie Whittaker, the first female Doctor, is officially waiting in the wings to take over from Peter Capaldi in the Doctor Who Christmas special. My feelings? Mixed overall, but leaning towards the positive. Here’s my perspective. Warning: conservative Christianity and extreme geekery incoming.

(By the way, my review of the Series 10 finale is still coming; I just haven’t had any time to work on it lately. I want to get my thoughts about Thirteen down in a post while they’re s...

The Tomb of the Sea Witch–New Title, Synopsis and RELEASE DATE!

All your pestering has paid off, Beaumont & Beasley fans. I have been hard at work on the sequel to The Beast of Talesend, and I’m now finally ready to announce a release date. The Tomb of the Sea Witch is coming…and probably sooner than you had expected.

In case you’re wondering, yes, I have timed the release to coincide with the Realm Makers conference (July 27-29), which I will be attending this year. My plan is to launch The Tomb of the Sea Witch on July 24 so I can market the book while...
