I Am For Life

I was in a meeting recently when a well-respected Christian leader said a statement that hasn't left my mind since. "If Roe vs. Wade were overturned tomorrow, then what? Is the church--the Christian community--prepared to care for those children?"He went on to another topic, but inside I shouted, "Of course! There are wonderful Christian people out there who'd love to adopt a sweet little baby.

What's Up With Church?

I can still remember being nine-years-old and attending the small, white church on Highway 97 north of Weed, California. New to church, I was impressed with the caring people, fun Sunday School lessons, and new friends. These people were different than others I knew. They smiled, and they were full of joy. As a homeschooling mom I never struggled with figuring out what I wanted my kids to learn. The problem came with knowing where to stop. After sitting down one year to figure out my high schooler's schedule, I came up with fourteen subjects. FOURTEEN! Uh, I had a trim that down a little bit.
