News – Androids Swarm Indigo

Day 1,082, Reality City – The Monarch has spotted an influx of residents from Indigo undertaking massive new engineering projects and completing them within minutes this week, laying foundations for skyscrapers and finishing construction in record time.

These new buildings were seen from the edge of Currency, upon which the Monarch was directed to see what was going on.

The androids have always proven to be quite apt when it comes to physical demands, notably hosting competitions where they b...

Downtown – Sounds from Reality City

Featuring all that can be found in downtown. Terrifying. Uncertain. Messy and dangerous. Alive and wonderful.

Now that I’ve seen it from the sky, the place is only getting more normalized at the same time as its mystique grows.

Bog Witch Brew

Before there was meaning
To any good celebrating
We shared sips of coffee
Grounds wet with rose water

Tamped, strained, and shot
Us into a daze of days
That lasted a whole week
Even though we weren’t weak

It was the brew that was
What weeks were made of
What kicked off the morning
And shut down the nights

Like a baton to the shin
It stopped us from flight
And subdued us from fighting
That day’s altering state

Then day was no longer
And it was tomorrow
As the week went on
Like it was so strong...

On your finger:
A coffin set in red
Crystal rock

As rich in color as
Your bloody knuckles
Before they scarred over.
Walls hurt.

Vibrant as the faux
Eyeliner you’ve painted

Ozymandias still stood tall.

Fastiduous and full of ardor
Like a bog witch
Performing a ritual
Deep in the forest.

Be a shaman to me, resurrect
Whatever it may be
That plagues your mind
And let me see.

I want to be a part of
Your world. Whatever swamps
I must wade through,
...

Olympia Sunshine Life

I wore monochrome
Since it was grey outside
Until I found red sunglasses

Breaking down the walls
That cast long shadows
Through the streets
And down the beat
Paths struck by shoes
That cracked at the arch

Eating bagels and having
Breve before Bower’s Books
Comes into view
Around another corner
A vertical horizon cutting
Through past and present

Each new concrete building
Wrapped in festive paper
To be violently torn asunder
As you might pry open a
Carefully-wrapped
Christmas present

With the...

There are rather witchy things going on below the surface. Quintessential Washington weather, with a ubiquitous vantage.
