Neil Gaiman’s THE SANDMAN Graphic Novel (DC Comics) Now Set To Be a New NETFLIX TV Series!

NETFLIX recently shared a few promo videos showcasing THE SANDMAN (which, you can see down below). Of course we’re talking about the DC Comics/Vertigo Comic Book Character created by Neil Gaiman back in, I think, 1989.

I found an image of the 1st issue on eBay, which you can see down below:

(they sell for a TON of money in Mint Condition)

It looks like Neil Gaiman is gonna be very involved with the show so that’s cool, should make it really great! Now I’m sure everybody is gonna ask, “When is the Premiere Date? and, When does Sandman start on Netflix?”. Well, We’re quoting the TV GUIDE here but they said, “Netflix is yet to announce a release date for The Sandman. In July this year, Gaiman suggested that the show will arrive in 2021 — although early 2022 is possible too.”

The “Sneak Peak” Trailer & “Behind The Scene” Footage also looks amazing, check these out:

New Post-Modern Library Devoted to Japanese Novelist HARUKI MURAKAMI to Open in Tokyo, Japan on October 1st!!

村上春樹ワンダーランドへようこそ! Welcome to the Wonderland of Haruki Murakami!

TOKYO – Haruki Murakami has held many identities in his 72 years of life: Student, Record Store Employee, Owner of the Jazz Bar and Coffee Shop PETER CAT, Radio DJ and – his claim to fame – best-selling and critically acclaimed author of surrealist Japanese fiction!

All these selves are brought to life at a new library at his alma mater, Waseda University, in Tokyo.

The Haruki Murakami Library – officially known as the Waseda International House Of Literature – opens Oct. 1, 2021. It spans six stories, including one basement floor. Three stories are open to the public, while the other three are for literature researchers.

Another tribute to Murakami’s “Peter Cat” years is the student-run ORANGE CAT Cafe, which serves a specialty “Murakami Blend” developed with Tokyo’s artisanal Horiuchi Coffee (Secret, it’s a Dark Roast!)

Here are a few examples of Haruki Murakami Book Covers designed by the American Graphic Designer Chip Kidd:

Also, Here’s a nice photo of the two of them together from a few years ago!

Anderson Cooper, who researched his own family for his new book, “Vanderbilt: The Rise and Fall of An American Dynasty,” (Harper Collins Publishing) does his best to put the family’s vast former fortune in perspective. It’s a story so unbelievable, it must be true. Anderson Cooper tells Stephen what happened when his mother Gloria Vanderbilt discovered she could still carry a child at 85 years old, ha!
