“When asked, "How do you write?" I invariably answer, "One word at a time," and the answer is invariably dismissed. But that is all it is. It sounds too simple to be true, but consider the Great Wall of China, if you will: one stone at a time, man. That's all. One stone at a time. But I've read you can see that motherfucker from space without a telescope.”

Alastair Luft Hi Caroline, thanks for connecting! Although a lot has changed since we've been in lockdown, one thing that hasn't is time set aside for reading and writing - not sure what I'd do without it! Hope you're coping with lockdown also, and congratulations on the publication of your book last year.

Caroline Lisa Hiya. Hope you are coping with lockdown and enjoying some reading time!
