10 Free Ways to Refresh Your Home

Here are 10 fun, zero-cost ways to refresh your home so you can fall back in love with your space!

Do you ever look around your home and feel a little “meh”? Like, your space isn’t terrible, but it definitely isn’t making you feel energized or excited either?

Same.
And when that mood hits, the best fix isn’t a shopping spree—it’s a little creativity and a good ol’ home refresh… for free.

1. Reverse Shop Your House

This one is genius—and surprisingly fun.

Go into a room and find five things you like but don’t love. Those items? Out they go. Next, “shop” your house to replace them. Maybe it’s a chair from another room or a lamp that’s been collecting dust. Suddenly, your room feels fresh and totally new.

Bonus: This also helps you declutter things you’ve outgrown without feeling like you have to toss everything at once.

2. Rearrange It

Remember being a kid and sliding your bed two feet to the left and thinking your room was brand new? Let’s bring that energy back.

Move your couch. Switch up the chairs. Angle your bed a different way. Even if the furniture isn’t new, the layout change can totally shift the vibe of a space.

3. Flip the Function

This one’s a game-changer. Take a space that’s being underused and give it a new job.

Maybe your dining room becomes a craft room. Maybe a forgotten corner becomes a cozy reading nook. Or maybe (like in my case) your formal living room becomes a game room with beautiful board games as decor.

It doesn’t have to be drastic—just intentional.

4. Create a Memory-Making Zone

Clear off one small surface (a shelf, a buffet, a table), and turn it into a zone that celebrates what matters.

Ideas:

A “family fun” station with a jar of activity ideas

A photo zone with albums and favorite pictures

A rotating seasonal decor display

The goal? Turn forgotten spots into joyful ones.

5. Set the Table (Even if It’s Just You)

It sounds fancy, but hear me out: setting your table, even with just your everyday dishes, can completely elevate your dining space.

Not only does it look lovely, but it also stops clutter from piling up there. And hey, you’ll always be ready for dinner!

6. Swap Out Your Artwork

You don’t need new art—you just need to move it around. Take something from the bedroom and hang it in the hallway. Put a piece from the basement into the living room.

Feeling extra brave? Paint over an old piece you’re not in love with anymore. Add new colors or just freshen it up. Instant upgrade.

7. Add a Pop of Color

Want your space to feel instantly more cohesive? Pick one color and sprinkle it around.

It could be green, blue, pink—whatever you love. Add a pillow, a lamp, a throw blanket, or even just repaint a vase. That little visual repetition ties the whole room together.

8. Let There Be (Better) Light

Light bulbs matter more than we think.
On Hot Mess House, there was a guy whose entire job was to switch light bulbs—and now I get why. Swapping out warm, yellow bulbs for daylight ones makes your space look cleaner, brighter, and more modern.

Don’t want to buy new bulbs? Open those curtains, pull back the blinds, or hang a mirror to bounce around natural light.

9. Signature Scent

Your space should smell like spring too! Here’s a few ways you can give your home a signature scent.
Try simple, natural ways to freshen the air—like slicing lemons and leaving them out, adding essential oils to felt pads or dryer balls, or making a citrus-infused cleaner.

Even just a hint of lemon or orange can make your home feel crisp and energized.

10. Declutter Just One Spot

If you only do one thing on this list—let it be this one.

Start small: clear your kitchen counters, the top of your dresser, or a single shelf. You don’t have to go full out –  just remove a few things, put them away, and live with that “less is more” feeling for a few days.  If you need a little inspo, here’s a list of 24 things you can declutter right now.

I guarantee you’ll feel like you’re walking into a brand-new room.

You Don’t Need to Spend a Dime

Sometimes, all it takes to feel better in your home is a little rearranging, a fresh perspective, and permission to have fun with it.

So this weekend, reverse shop your space. Move your furniture. Make your table. Set the vibe. And maybe even steal a lamp from your partner’s office (with love, of course).

Let your home feel fresh, happy, and totally you—without spending a cent.

Top 5 Decluttering Mistakes that are Keeping You Stuck

Join me LIVE as I break down the TOP 5 most common DECLUTTERING MISTAKES and how to overcome them and then I tackle your decluttering questions!

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by the mess in your home and totally stuck on where to start, you’re not alone. For years, I made these same decluttering mistakes—and I didn’t even realize they were mistakes! Once I changed my approach, everything shifted. Let’s dig into the top five decluttering mistakes you might be making—and what to do instead to finally feel lighter, freer, and more in control of your space.

Mistake #1: Sorting First

Okay, I know sorting sounds productive… but it’s actually a trap. When you sort first, you’re organizing items you may not even like or need. Suddenly, everything has a category and a “purpose” just because you put it in a pile. Instead of tackling the mess, you’ve created more chaos.

Do this instead: Try the yes/no method. Ask yourself: “Do I like this?” If yes, leave it where it is. If no, put it in a “go” pile. That’s it. No fancy categories, no mental gymnastics. Just quick decisions, one item at a time.

Mistake #2: Ignoring the Root Cause

Decluttering isn’t just about stuff—it’s about what’s going on underneath. Are you holding onto things because of scarcity, guilt, or fear of making a mistake? Maybe you were raised to believe you should keep everything “just in case.”

What helps: Identify your root. Is it trauma? Perfectionism? A scarcity mindset? Naming it helps you start healing. Remember: keeping something you don’t use isn’t saving money—it’s just taking up space.

Mistake #3: Overthinking Everything

You’re not solving world peace—you’re just putting stuff in a bag! But so many of us (especially my fellow overthinkers) get caught up in questions like: “Where should I donate this?” “What if I cry?” “Do I have the right containers?”

Quick tip: Grab a trash bag and find 21 things to go. That’s it. Turn it into a game, an Easter egg hunt. Don’t stop and analyze. Just act. Less thinking, more doing.

Mistake #4: Doing Too Much at Once

Please don’t pull everything out of your closet, dump it on the bed, and then panic at 11 p.m. when you’re too tired to finish. Been there. Done that.

Try this instead: Focus on just one drawer, or find five shirts you no longer love. Small wins give you momentum without the overwhelm. Your motivation grows with each success.

Mistake #5: Not Scheduling Decluttering Time

Let’s be honest—decluttering isn’t magically going to happen “someday.” If you’ve been waiting for the motivation fairy to show up, she’s busy. Sorry.

Pro move: Open your calendar right now and schedule 5–15 minutes of decluttering. Set a reminder. Make it a date with yourself. Even five minutes makes a difference when it’s consistent.

Your Decluttering Questions, Answered

You all had so many great questions! Here’s a quick summary of some of the most helpful Q&As from the chat:

Q: What’s an easy way to label without a printer?

A: Use peel-and-stick chalkboard labels and a chalk pen—fast, reusable, and cute!

Q: I need visual organization, but clutter stresses me out. Help?

A: You don’t need to see everything, just your everyday essentials. Use trays, shelves, and color-coded bins to keep things visible but contained.

Q: How do I organize a standard freezer?

A: Use tall skinny bins to group items by category. Cut out cooking instructions from boxes and store them in the bin with the food.

Q: No space for an entryway drop zone—any alternatives?

A: Use IKEA’s wall-mounted shoe cabinets (they’re only 4 inches deep!) to hold everything from bags to dog leashes.

Q: My bedroom is a multipurpose zone—how do I manage it?

A: Create zones: each wall or corner should have one purpose (music, sewing, etc.). Use bins, hooks, or armoires to contain the clutter.

Q: I’ve already decluttered a lot—what now?

A: Start with high-impact areas like your bedroom or bathroom. Decluttering those spaces boosts your mood and makes daily life easier.

Q: I love all my clothes and don’t want to part with them!

A: Try the backwards hanger trick—turn all your hangers around and flip them back only when you wear the item. After 6 months, donate what’s still hanging backwards.

Q: I can’t figure out categories for my random stuff!

A: Use broad categories like “Home,” “Adhesive,” “Fix-It,” or “Tools.” You can even upload a photo to ChatGPT and ask for help grouping items. It works!

Your Homework (Don’t Worry—It’s Fun)

You don’t need to buy a single thing to start organizing today. Here are three small wins you can tackle right now:

✅ Find 21 items to let go of

✅ Spend 5 minutes decluttering one drawer or shelf

✅ Schedule your next decluttering session on your calendar

You’ve got this, friend. Remember—this isn’t about being perfect. It’s about making progress, feeling better in your space, and proving to yourself that you can do this (because you totally can!).

Home Organizing Tips for ADHD

If you’re looking for home organizing tips for ADHD – you’re in the right place!  Let’s be honest—life is already a lot. Then you throw in laundry, dishes, clutter, and cleaning, and it can feel downright impossible. And if you’re like me and have ADHD? Multiply that overwhelm by ten.

I was diagnosed with ADHD five years ago, and organizing didn’t come naturally to me—at all. My brain doesn’t do compartments or systems very well. But I’ve found some truly life-changing hacks that have taken me from “hot mess express” to someone who’s (mostly!) organized all the time. And yes, it’s possible—even if your brain feels like it’s constantly spinning.

Let me show you how.

The Power of “Zoning” for an ADHD Brain

The first (and biggest) game-changer? Zoning. It sounds fancy, but it’s super simple. Instead of telling myself “I need to organize,” which feels overwhelming, I say, “I’m creating a zone for this category.”

Start with the Condiments

I used to have multiple bottles of ketchup open at once (no shame), and I could never find what I needed. My first zone was just a labeled bin in the fridge door for condiments. That tiny change saved time, reduced frustration, and even saved money.

Try a Get-Ready Bin

Forget scattered makeup, vitamins, or meds. Throw everything you need in the morning into one container. Boom—less mess, more routine, and only one thing to wipe under when cleaning.

Create Functional Stations That Do the Work for You

We ADHDers thrive when things are simple, visual, and easy to use.

1. Snack or Lunch Station

Turn a drawer or basket into a grab-and-go snack zone. Whether for your kids or yourself, this saves time and reduces forgotten items.

2. Clutter Catcher

Add a small basket or bin to high-clutter areas like the kitchen counter or stairs. Toss items in throughout the day, then return them to their homes at night.

ADHD-Friendly Way to Meal Plan

Let’s talk about dinner. If the daily “What’s for dinner?” question fills you with dread, you are not alone. For those of us with ADHD, meal planning can feel like an overwhelming maze of recipes, grocery lists, and decision fatigue.

Here’s the good news: you don’t need to plan out a gourmet week of meals. You just need a little structure—and that’s where Theme Day Dinners come in.

What Are Theme Day Dinners?

It’s a simple system where each day of the week has a theme. That way, your brain has a built-in shortcut instead of having to think from scratch every night.

Here are a few examples to get you started:

Meatless Mondays – Think veggie stir-fry, lentil soup, or pasta primavera

10-Minute Tuesdays – Super quick meals like wraps, quesadillas, or air fryer favorites

Slow Cooker Saturdays – Toss it in the crockpot and forget it

Once you assign a theme to each day, you’re only choosing between a few familiar meal ideas. It cuts decision fatigue and makes shopping way easier too.

To make it even easier, I’ve made you a  FREE printable menu planner.

Here’s how to use it:

Print it out and pop it in a plastic sleeve

Use a dry-erase marker to circle your meal ideas from a pre-written list (included in the planner!)

Jot your final plan and grocery list right on the sheet

Stick it on the fridge or inside a kitchen cabinet

Bonus tip: Save your old weekly menus to rotate them every month! You’ll end up with 4-5 weeks of go-to plans that you can recycle with zero effort.

Organizing Tips That Break the Rules (On Purpose)

Let’s bust some myths. Organization doesn’t mean perfection—it means finding what works for YOU.

Ditch the Dresser

If folding clothes is your nemesis, skip it. Who says you actually have to fold and use a dresser to put away your clothes?  Use open bins or baskets for categories like pajamas, workout clothes, and socks. Or even just clean stacking laundry baskets—slide them into a shelving unit and call it good.

Embrace Brain Dump Zones

I forget things constantly, so I have notebooks and sticky pads in key places—by the bed, by the coffee machine, on the fridge. If it’s important, I stick it up where I can see it.

Your New Best Friends: Reminders and Visual CuesTimers & Alexa

Set multiple timers throughout the day. “Tidy for 2 minutes.” “Start dinner.” “Put the clothes away.” , my phone (or Alexa) helps me stay on track and builds new habits without the mental effort.

Visual Frames

Those hinged art frames for kids? They’re also perfect for chore charts, daily routines, and reminders. It’s simple to update them and swap them out, PLUS they’re tidy, cute, and visible—ideal for an ADHD brain.  I use mine to put reminders to take reusable grocery bags with me as I head out the door!

Reduce Friction with These ADHD-Friendly SystemsUse Hooks, Hanging Baskets, and Shelves

If you tend to drop things on counters, install a hook or hanging basket above that spot. Now it has a home!

Follow the Two-Step Rule

If putting something away takes more than two steps (like lifting a lid, opening a drawer, finding the right folder…), it’s too many. Simplify it and keep it to only two steps – you’ll be amazed at how that trains your brain to put things where they belong!

Bedside Chaos? Not Anymore

Do you spend a lot of time in bed (hello, fellow bed-rotting fans)? Create a bedside drop zone. A small rolling cart or under-bed bin can hold your journal, books, charger, whatever you need. Easy to access, easy to hide.

The Magic of “Errand Day”

One day a week—just one—is dedicated to errands. For me, it’s Fridays – that’s the day I do groceries, doctor visits, hair appointments. It’ll  streamline your week and helps you stop chasing your to-do list every day.

Never Lose Your Phone Again (Seriously)

A charging station is a must. Designate a home for your phone, watch, earbuds—whatever you’ve got. It’s not just functional; your brain will automatically start putting things where they belong.

Label Everything (Like, EVERYTHING)

I’m a label maker addict and proud of it.  Labels give your brain a visual cue and eliminate the “Where does this go again?” problem. Eventually, you won’t need the labels—but when starting out, label like it’s a preschool classroom.  To get started, one of my faves can be found here!

Train Your Brain to Be Tidy

Use 2-minute tidy sessions throughout the day. Set a timer, and just put things away for two minutes. Over time, this becomes muscle memory—and suddenly you’re a tidy person, even if it doesn’t come naturally.

Store It Where You Use It

This one is so simple, but I used to overlook it all the time. Keep the dog food near the bowls. Store your knitting supplies where you actually knit. Board games? Right near where you play them. No more running around or leaving things out.

Trays: The ADHD MVP

Want your family to stop losing the remote? Put a tray on the coffee table. It turns the table into a defined “home,” and suddenly people actually use it. It’s weirdly effective.

Maximize Cabinets with Pull-Outs

Pull-out drawers or lazy Susans inside cabinets make everything visible and accessible. You don’t need a custom install—stick-on versions from Amazon like these – work wonders.

End the Day Right: Close the Kitchen

Just like restaurants do a closing shift, I “close” my kitchen every night. Five minutes to load the dishwasher, wipe counters, toss garbage—and boom, I wake up to a clean space. It’s magic.

Try Just One Today

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, don’t stress. Start small. I always recommend zoning your condiments—it’s quick, easy, and oddly life-changing. Pick one organizing tip from this list and give it a try today.

And remember—your home doesn’t have to look like a magazine. It just needs to work for you.

Spring Cleaning in One Day: The Ultimate Speed-Cleaning Method

Spring cleaning doesn’t have to take forever! If your home needs a deep refresh but you don’t have days to spare, I’ve got you.   And I also have a Spring Cleaning Pack you can download that’s full of checklists, guides and routines that’ll help make it easy (and there’s a cute spring printable included too!)

Step 1: Understanding the Three Cleaning Levels

Before we dive into deep cleaning, let’s talk about the three essential levels of cleaning:

Dailies – Quick tasks like doing the dishes, laundry, and tidying up.Weeklies – Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning the bathrooms.Deep Cleaning – Tackling baseboards, windows, light fixtures, and other neglected areas.

Today, we’re focusing on deep cleaning, and I’ll show you how to do it super fast without feeling overwhelmed!

Step 2: Catching Up with the SWEEP Method

If you’re behind on your dailies and weeklies, don’t stress! Use the SWEEP method to quickly reset your home before deep cleaning. This is the exact strategy that professional cleaners use for maximum efficiency:

S – Scoop up trash and dishes. Grab a trash bag for garbage and a laundry basket for dirty dishes. Sweep the entire room, collecting all unwanted items without leaving the space.W – Wanderers go in a tidy tote. Anything that doesn’t belong in the room goes into a bin to be put away later.E – Everything in its place. Start in one corner and work your way through the room, tidying up as you go.E – Eliminate dirt. Dust high surfaces first and work your way down with a cleaning spray for countertops, furniture, and flat surfaces.P – Polish the floor. Finish with a thorough sweep, vacuum, and mop.

This method helps you clean even the messiest spaces without distractions, saving tons of time!

Step 3: The Flawlessly Spring Cleaning Routine

Once your home is tidy, it’s time for a deep clean. Follow this FLAWLESS system to get every part of your home sparkling:

F – FurnitureFor fabric furniture, use a white cloth to avoid dye transfer.Spray a little multi-purpose cleaner or dish soap on a damp cloth and scrub stains. If you have microfiber furniture, skip the water! Instead, use straight rubbing alcohol and buff with a dry cloth.Don’t forget to wipe down the bottoms of chairs and table legs—they collect grime and pet hair.Sprinkle baking soda on your mattress, let it sit for 15 minutes, then vacuum it up for a fresh, odor-free bed.L – Light FixturesDust ceiling fans, chandeliers, pot lights, and lampshades.Use a sticky roller to clean fabric lampshades.Remove glass light covers and run them through the dishwasher with a little vinegar for a sparkling finish.Wipe down light switches with a disinfecting spray or Barkeeper’s Friend to remove grime and fingerprints.A – AppliancesDishwasher: The rubber seal collects moldy food and bacteria—wipe it down with a damp cloth and vinegar.Microwave: Steam clean by microwaving a bowl of water for 4 minutes, then wipe away the loosened grime.Oven: If you have a self-cleaning option, use it! Otherwise, a baking soda paste works wonders.Coffee maker: Run a cycle with vinegar to remove buildup.W – Windows and MirrorsUse a squeegee and a vinegar-water mix for streak-free windows.Dust window sills and blinds.Don’t forget to clean the window tracks, which collect dirt and debris over time.L – Laundry & LinensWash your curtains, throw pillows, and pet beds.Rotate seasonal clothing and donate anything you no longer wear.Flip and rotate your mattress to keep it comfortable and even.E – Entryways & High-Traffic AreasClean doormats—shake them out or toss them in the wash.Wipe down doors, knobs, and handles.Declutter the entryway and organize shoes, bags, and keys.S – Surfaces & BaseboardsUse a microfiber cloth to dust bookshelves, tables, and dressers.Wipe down baseboards with a damp cloth or a dryer sheet (it helps repel dust!).Vacuum under furniture where dust bunnies love to hide.Ready to Spring Clean Your Home in One Day?

With the SWEEP method to reset your home and the FLAWLESS system to deep clean, your house will be sparkling in no time! Spring cleaning doesn’t have to be overwhelming, download the Spring Cleaning Pack to get started with a daily calendar, deep clean checklist, speedy routines and so much more!!

Look 10 Years Younger With These Expert Beauty Tips!

If you’ve been feeling a little “blah” about your look lately—or you’re just itching for a fun style refresh—this one’s for you! I teamed up with four incredible experts (covering wardrobe, hair, makeup, and color analysis) to give my appearance and confidence a boost, without blowing my budget.

Wardrobe Tips: Elevate Your Outfits with Confidence

I met with Mena, a wardrobe and fashion stylist (Style Me Mena), to find out how to refresh my closet and find outfits that make me feel joyful and polished. Here are her top fashion tips:

1. Pants for Your Body ShapeLook for pants with a flat front or pull-on style to avoid unnecessary bulk.  And opt for pockets that are slanted (for the same reason)Petite women should opt for pants that fit snugly at the waist and gradually flare below the knee for a balanced look.Avoid pleats in areas where you don’t want extra emphasis.2. Play with Textures and AccessoriesAdding dimension and texture to your outfits instantly elevates your look.A simple way to do this is by layering a denim jacket, blazer, or scarf over a basic outfit.Accessories like crossbody bags, scarves, and statement jewelry can transform even the most basic outfits.3. The Rule of Thirds for a Balanced LookInstead of dividing your body into equal halves with a long top and straight-leg pants, aim for a 1/3 and 2/3 proportion.Higher-waisted pants create a more flattering silhouette.Avoid boxy styles that visually cut you in half.4. The Power of Pearls and MetallicsPearls are an instant way to brighten your complexion and add a touch of elegance.A metallic shoe (like gold pumps or flats) pairs well with neutrals and keeps an outfit light and airy.If wearing black pants, stick to black shoes to keep the look elongated.5. Refresh Your Accessories with This Simple Scarf Trick

Have old scarves you don’t wear? Try this:

Fold the scarf in half and roll it up.Wrap it around the back of your neck and pull one end through the loop.Tie the other end, and you have an effortlessly chic accessory!Hair & Color Analysis: Choosing the Right Shades for You

Before touching my hair, Monica and Evangelina, my hair experts, started with a seasonal color analysis (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) to determine which hues brighten your complexion and make you look radiant.  Turns out I’m a Spring!

Knowing the right shades for your skin tone can make a huge difference in how fresh and vibrant you look.

Seasonal Color Tips:Understand Your Undertones – Your skin’s undertone (cool, warm, or neutral) determines what colors will flatter you most. This applies to both clothing and hair color choices.  🎨Color hack: Head to the hardware store,  pick up paint samples, hold them to your face and see which colours work best! Use Color Analysis to Your Advantage – If you’ve never had a seasonal color analysis done, consider trying it! It helps you build a wardrobe and makeup routine that enhances your natural beauty. Hair Color Should Complement Your Skin Tone – Choosing the right hair color based on your undertones will give you a more youthful and vibrant look. Hair Transformation: 1. Finding the Right Hair Color

The struggle is real when it comes to brassiness. The key is to work with, not against, your natural warmth. If you have cool-toned skin and eyes, opt for a warm, honey-toned blonde instead of trying to neutralize the warmth with ashy tones. Ashy colors can actually enhance brassiness rather than reduce it. Instead, embrace warm tones that complement your complexion for a more vibrant and natural look.

2. Greasy Hair Fix: Balancing Oil Production

If your hair turns into an oil slick faster than you can say “dry shampoo,” the issue might not be over-washing—it could be an imbalance in your scalp’s pH. When your scalp is stripped of its natural oils too frequently, it overcompensates by producing even more oil. The fix? A pH-balancing shampoo that helps regulate oil production. Be patient, though—it can take 1-2 months for your scalp to adjust and stop overproducing oil.

3. Choosing the Right Haircut for Your Face Shape

Gone are the days when turning 40 meant chopping off all your hair. The best haircut is the one that suits your face shape! If you have an oval face, you have the flexibility to experiment with different styles. Wispy bangs, for instance, can frame your face beautifully without overwhelming fine hair. Keep layers light to maintain movement without sacrificing volume.

4. Making Your Blowout Last Longer

To keep your blowout fresh, use this simple trick: After drying and curling sections of your hair, wrap them around two or three fingers and pin them in place with a duckbill clip while they cool. This technique sets the curl and extends the life of your blowout. You can use bobby pins or inexpensive clips from Amazon to achieve this salon-worthy look at home.

Makeup Magic: Easy Tips for a Fresh, Youthful Glow1. Prepping Your Skin for Makeup

The key to great makeup is a well-prepped canvas.  Start with a lightweight, water-based moisturizer, pressing it into the skin rather than rubbing. Avoid oil-based serums in the morning, as they can cause your foundation to separate and pill (think salad dressing—oil and water don’t mix!).

2. Eye Makeup First for a Clean, Polished Look

Applying eyeshadow before foundation makes it easy to clean up fallout without messing up your base makeup. Start with an eyeshadow primer to keep your look in place all day—especially useful for long days that stretch into the evening.

3. Quick Makeup for Busy Mornings

If you only have five minutes, go for multi-use products. A cream blush stick is a game-changer—it can be applied to your cheeks, eyelids, and lips for a cohesive, fresh look. Pair it with a concealer to brighten your complexion, and you’re good to go!

4. Eyeshadow Tips for Hooded or Aging Eyes

Instead of highlighting the inner corners of the eyes, which can emphasize fine lines, focus on the center of the lid to create brightness. When applying crease color, look straight into the mirror to find the right placement—going slightly above the natural crease helps open up hooded eyes. And don’t forget to blend your shadow slightly past the outer corner to give the illusion of a lifted eye.

5. Budget-Friendly Makeup That Works

You don’t have to spend lots of money on an eyeshadow palette to get great color payoff. Affordable brands like NYX and Essence (available just about anywhere) offer high-quality eyeshadows with great pigmentation for under $10. Pairing drugstore shadows with a good primer can give them the staying power of luxury brands.

6. Soft Eyeliner Look

For a softer, more natural liner look, use dark brown eyeshadow instead of traditional eyeliner. Apply it with a fine brush (even an art store brush works well!) by pressing it into the lash line and slightly above. This technique avoids harsh lines and creates the illusion of fuller lashes.

Making over your look doesn’t have to be drastic. Small changes—like choosing the right colours, balancing your outfit proportions, and updating your makeup routine—can make a huge difference in how you look and feel!
