Oh shit, now what?

k, so yesterday shortly after my little rant… or better yet, best posed as self-expression… I did something that hasn't seemed possible lately. Can you guess what that was? Come now, surely if you are like me (which by yesterday's stats, many of you are) what is something you probably haven't done in a while? Think. What is the unthinkable?

I shut off my computer!

Not only did I shut it off, indeed I walked away from it.

Gasp!

I know!

Can you imagine?

I must admit. It was difficult at first. I mean,

Oh my God, have I become one of those?…

Lately with my in boxes and pages/comments sections being bombarded with "Listen to me; visit my page; I can make it happen for you; Join my circle and you will become rich; Apply my principles and you will acquire all your desires; Let me show you how…; I can teach you…; I recommend this book (and it is their's); I recommend you visit this site (and it is their's); Join this group (yes, and it is their's); follow me; listen to me; share me; help me; buy me… And all of these social websites are

"We could desire and deny all in the same breath." Leo in Courage of Fear, Barbara Boyer

Leo's, a character in Courage of Fear, poem to his unrequited love, the protagonist Angela– stating indeed "one can desire and deny all in the same breath."

Human Decision

The world disappears around you

when you look me in the eyes.

A warmth inside like summer

ignites the soul's internal skies.

A presence so powerful

I feel my breath slip away.

For it no longer holds importance

where the two souls dare play.

It's as if

they have a plan

of their own

where you

and I

to go.

They know each other

Featured Author in Books in Sync — Their Interview Courage of Fear

Barbara BoyerBooks In Sync Interviews Author Barbara Boyer

Barbara Resides In Carlsbad , CA USA

Tell us what makes you proud to be a writer from Carlsbad, CA? I don't' suppose I have ever thought of this. I am not sure if I actually picked this area to live or if it picked me. I just rode the wind and here I am. After my daughter made her way into law school I made my way to San Diego to pursue my screenwriting career. Financially San Diego is a difficult place to live if you are a starving artist, yet the ene

“Love is always real. It belongs to the giver. It does not mean it did not exist if it was not received.” Courage of Fear

“Love is always real. It belongs to the giver. It does not mean it did not exist if it was not received.” Courage of Fear, Barbara Boyer

This by far is one of my greatest of all enlightenment and therefore one of my most prized quotes from my novel, Courage of Fear. Courage of Fear Quote: Physical Manifestation

“When we find that one person, that one love, we have found the physical manifestation of our Creator.”

Good Morning all:

When first reading this philosophy of relationships I thought it sacrilege really. I mean it had always been my understanding that if I put anything between me and god I would surely lose it. Yet as I dug deeper, read more about this philosophy, something wonderful began to unfold for me.

It all happened when I lost “the one”, or whom I perceived to be the one. There I sat, ball
