O Come All Ye Kinky anthology

A story of mine will be appearing in a seasonal anthology from Riptide Publisherson December 3rd.

Very happy to be involved since 20% of all proceeds from O Come All Ye Kinky will be donated to the Domestic Violence Project of the National Leather Association–International.

I'm also thrilled by my fellow contributors, who include some of my favorite authors, especially, always, Alexa Snow with whom I might have scribbled the odd word or so. (Okay, I just added them up. Guesstimating the one we're currently working on at 100,000 words and not counting fic because I don't have the data, Alexa and I have written 915,963 words together. Wow.) The other authors are Ava March, L. A. Witt, Elyan Smith, Kim Dare, Katie Porter, and Joey W. Hill.

My story was edited by Sarah Frantz whose suggestions improved it immensely.

Obviously, it's a while before O Come All Ye Kinky is released, but here's the blurb for my story:

Jane Davitt, “Tree Topper”

Jon’s new to the scene, and his sub Stan has recently stopped taking him seriously. Their tree has floggers, clamps, and cuffs underneath it, but will they ever be used? Frustrated and confused, Jon knows it will take more than a star to guide him on his way to becoming the Dom Stan needs — but their path to happiness might be shorter than he thinks.

Signal boosting

Amazon have pulled The Flesh Cartel #1: Capture from their shelves, stating that its content breaks their rules.

Which rules? These:

Pornography
We don't accept pornography or offensive depictions of graphic sexual acts.

Offensive Content
What we deem offensive is probably about what you would expect.

Well, that's super-clear. ::rolls eyes::

I've written to them to complain using this link:

This censorship is far from new for Amazon. In 2009 they quietly disappeared a number of books with gay content, including one of mine, until the resulting storm of protest made them back down.

Haimowitz and Belleau's story isn't for everyone. It's dark, disturbing, and brutal.

It's just not pornography or gratuitous.

And what I expect from Amazon is to be able to buy stuff from there.

That's it.

I can decide for myself where my limits lie, thank you very much.

Want to read a snippet of kink?

We were asked to do two short blog posts to promote the newly released anthology O Come All Ye Kinky by Joey W. Hill

Dawn's Reading Nook is kindly hosting the first of mine, a short kinky fic featuring the characters from my story, and commenting on the post enters you into a draw with some great prizes.

The blog is here.
