IN PRODUCTION – THE TELEMARKETERS

Telemarketers – an inevitable part of life today and the bane of every household! Thank goodness someone has seen the funny side of it all and put it to film!

Written by J D Rebel and well known Author C A Milson (The Chosen), this very clever youtube Mockumentary series gives us a glimpse into the industry of telemarketing and the people who will do whatever it takes to close the deal. Filmed in Queensland and utilising local talent, The Telemarketers contains all the characters we love to hate – the sleezy boss, the manipulative secretary and telemarketers we just want to reach through the screen and throttle – and nicely combines them with the "nice guys come last" characters that you can't help but feel sorry for. It all goes together to create compelling viewing, even if it is just to see justice ocassionally served!

In the vein of the hugely popular cult TV series, The Office, this film is bound to resonate with audiences across the globe and will no doubt quickly accumulate it's own cult following. The trailer has already received positive reviews and full scale filming is scheduled for early 2011. This is definitely worth keeping an eye on, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was picked up by a savvy television station by season 2.

Directed by C.A. Milson & Daniel Pirrone-Cook, stars Rachel Forsyth, Jo Christiaans, Darrell Plumridge, Chris Howard, Kate Crowson, Andrew Nathan, James Harris, Holly Phillips, Michelle Berka, Laura Jane Turner, Alier Ataing, Allen Morris, Stephen Morris, Rudi Tartaglia, Jimmy Morris

November Update

Hi everyone!

Once again I have been out of the loop, focusing on other projects and have not had the time to spend posting updates on here as much as I should ((

Since September there have been alot of changes and developments, some things I will not go too much into detail for the sake of confidentiality, but other things have been great!

First up, for those in the "know" I have switched publishers and have gone to ASJ Publishing, who now publishes my novels.

Unfortunately, things did not work out with EDGE Publishing, as after 9 months there was no movement at all of my first novel. Part of the reason comes down to no real distribution channels were in place. Which is understandable as those things do take time to go through. Being a person who works in marketing, I do know that any distribution agreements do take months to happen, and they also come down to standard buying cycles.

I will not say what else happened, other than we parted on good terms.

However, I do believe that EDGE will be a good publisher in time to come, once they get all their dots in a row.

As I mentioned before, I am now with ASJ Publishing, who will be publishing my novels through Lulu and other platforms such as Smashwords and Wordclay.

Presently, Rise Of The Darkness is available in these formats:

Paperback

E-Book

Audiobook

Kindle

IPhone/IPod

You can also get an E-Book copy from GLOWINSKIS' LIBRARY in Poland.

More distribution channels will be coming up in the new year, so keep watch for this.

Publishers can still get the foreign rights to Rise Of The Darkness through C.A.Link.

For those who have been waiting, Bloodline Of Darkness is coming in the new year. Yes, it has been well overdue as I finished writing the novel earlier this year, but I am holding off on releasing it until January or February. Nevertheless, Bloodline Of Darkness will be on display at the major book fairs next year, as will Rise Of The Darkness.

Next year will also see a new version of the first book trailer, as New Zealand actor, James Fletcher, brings one of the characters to life in an all new book trailer! This trailer is not one to miss!

********************

Speaking of films ………….

2011 is going to be a BIG year for films, at least as far as I am involved ))

First up, we are shooting the short film Not So Ordinary Girl, a short romance/comedy film that will be filmed in Brisbane, Australia. I am thankful to have Spangled Aura Productions on board who have agreed to direct and produce the film for us.

Sarah King will be directing the movie, and Daniel Pirrone-Cook is set to produce.  The film tells the story of love & betrayal in the workplace. Casting will be in Brisbane, Australia in May 2011. So keep watch on here for details or on the Fanpage, or in The Courier-Mail Newspaper.

***********************************

Secondly, the new web-series, The Telemarketers Show, will start filming in May 2011.  The show will be posted on YouTube and on AtomFilms each week starting in June.

The Telemarketers Show stars Rachel Forsyth, Jo Christiaans, Darrell Plumridge, Chris Howard, Kate Crowson, Andrew Nathan, James Harris, Holly Phillips, Michelle Berka, Laura Jane Turner, Alier Ataing, Allen Morris, Stephen Morris, Rudi Tartaglia, Jimmy Morris, Anna Jackson.

With a fantastic cast, we also have a fantastic crew! J.D.Rebel is our lead script writer, and Daniel Pirrone-Cook will be directing!

The first trailer is also now live on IMDB.com.

Each week until May 2011, a new clip will also be added to the our YouTube Channel, so keep watch for weekly updates and follow the hilarity!

You will never look at Telemarketers the same way again )) Tune in the Fanpage on Facebook and follow us!

***********************************

Third up, there are a few rumors going around what will be next, as J.D. and I are working on the possibilities of some spin-off shows from The Telemarketers Show.

One show we have in mind is titled The Collectors. A definite "in your face" look at debt collectors in this mockumentary reality show.  The details of this are under wraps, but updates will be posted in the new year with what our direction will be for this show.

***********************************

Another show we are bouncing around has no fixed title as yet, but one name we have is "Ghost Hunt Australia".  If you watch shows like Ghost Adventures, Ghost Lab, then you will know what we have planned. No big camera crews as we investigate some of the most haunted locations in Australia and New Zealand.

Keep watch for more details on this idea, as once again, more will be known in the new year.

***********************************

2011 will end with another film, a full length horror film titled Zagorodny Park. The plan is to shoot the film around Brisbane. More details will be added to the Facebook Fanpage in due course.

***********************************

So it seems 2011 will be extremely busy. No doubt I will find time in there somewhere to work on the next book, Prophecys End, which should see it released sometime in 2012.

With each new book, will also come the new book trailer, where I will cast people for the main roles. As I mentioned above, we have James Fletcher who will be portraying the protagonist.  We are still searching for someone to plays the role of the antagonist )))

Keep watch for these new trailers next year ))

Thanks everyone for tuning in.

Have a fantastic week!

C.A. Milson
