Hell No

You came into my world with hopes and dreams
Now you've stripped my soul of everything
There's nothing left, but a black hole
And a fake smile, doing what she's told
But I'm tired of living that way
So I think today I shall say

Hell no! I won't shed a tear
Hell no! I won't live in fear
Hell no! You won't run my life no more
And Hell yeah! I'm walking out the door

I've been walking a thin line with you for a while now
Hoping you might see through to the pain some how
The thought that you don't care
Is just too much to bear
So as I walk away today
Just listen to the words I say

Hell no! I won't shed tear
Hell no! I won't live in fear
Hell no! You won't run my life no more
And Hell yeah! I'm walking out the door

I'm picking up the shattered pieces of my heart
I'm gonna take them far away to make a new start
And I'll be happy I finally walked away
And I'll be happy I had the courage to say

Hell no! I won't shed a tear
Hell no! I won't live in fear
Hell no! You won't run my life no more
And Hell yeah! I' m walking out the door

"Hero" Lyrics

Here are some lyrics I finished today. They might change a little, but I'm pretty happy with them. I feel the chorus might need a little work, but it sounds better with melody. Let me know what you think. Thanks, MJ.

“Hero”

 (Woman verse)
Lying here, Crying here, wondering what to do

Cause loving him breaks my heart

 But I know it’s true

And I can’t decide and I want to hide

These feelings are tearing me up inside

If I open the door and let him in

Will I only think when will it end

 If I take the chance

On this romance

Will he take the pain away

Will he come to save the day

And be my hero, my hero

(Guy verse)

 What are you waiting for

I’m right here at your door

I’ll only be here for so long

So don’t waste time with right or wrong

If you want me I’m right here

 No time for senseless fear

One day I might be gone

And you’ll realize I’m what you needed all along

Let me in to set you free

From all the pain and misery

 Take this chance on me

 I promise you will see

I’ll be your hero, your hero

Chorus (Both)

Will the piercing pain go away

 Will the emptiness fade

Will this great abyss called our souls

Be filled with love and made whole

Will this this myth they call true love finally exist

And be our hero, our hero.

Bridge

 Don’t think, just feel

 This love that’s real

When I look into your eyes

 The pain subsides

And I know this will last for eternity

 And our love will be

 Our hero, our hero.
